I meant whoa, not woe. Woe is an expression of grief. Whoa is an exclamation meant to command someone to stop, or cease.
Smarty pants.

We don't have a Castle Doctrine Statute in PA yet either, but we have very similar laws on the "books".
Also, Castle doctrine isn't always limited to inside your home, in some states such as Texas, it can apply outside your home, as well as to personal property (i.e. vehicles, etc.) Obviously it depends on which state you reside in, as well as how the law is written and interpreted. |

I've had to call 911 a few times. Mostly for Paramedics and stuff.
The few times I've had to call the Police, they have been very helpful. Once when I came back from Christmas break and my apartment had been robbed and the other a few nights ago. I was sitting in the living room of my apartment playing some Call of Duty and I hear this ridiculously loud bang noise from right outside my apartment. Kids in my complex set off firecrackers all the time, but I had never heard anything that loud in the parking lot before. I contemplated if it was a gunshot for a minute or two, then decided to call 911 just in case. The operator answered, I told her what I thought I heard, and she tells me, "We know sir, we've had other calls. Please stay indoors, units are on the way." So I look out the window and there are 15-20 Tallahassee Police officers with their flashlights out moving very quietly, I didn't even know they were there until I looked. They had set up a perimeter and there were officers with M4's and shotguns walking around (After the LA Shootout all TPD officers carry either an M4 or a Shotgun) looking for something. Turns out the apartment underneath me had it's sliding glass door shot out by a .22 Nobody was home at the time.
