Well calories aren't really the problem. If you think, calorie wise (at least for me) would be like 200 for breakfast, 850 for lunch and like 600-800 for dinner which is right under 2000, plus maybe a small snack and like 50 calories from all the propel I drink throughout the day.

Its the high sodium that kills you, makes you retain water and thus feel like a fatass. I think 1 burrito with rice has like 1400mg or so. The cheese and sour cream is also a little high in Saturated Fat.

Oh not to mention the 70g of carbs but if you eat it for lunch instead of dinner you'll usually burn them all off anyway.

its not quite that high... worrying about calories is like 1980's health class. Calories aren't as bad as everyone thinks they are if you exorcise for like 30 min a day 3x a week. As long as your metabolisim isn't like a brick you're ok eating between 2000-2500 calories a day without gaining weight. Its carbs and sodium that are key to keeping lower than normal to lose weight/maintain a weight.

Just try it for lunch one day and plan for a lighter dinner than you usually have. If you don't like it, just toss it out and call it a day. I promise if you eat 1/2 of it its like having a decent sized lunch.

I think that most people who like Chiptole are people who havnt been exposed to real Mexican. Anyone who grew up in a place where they have real mexican food (i grew up in LA), thinks that Chiptole is just so-so. It's really not Mexican at all, some form of Tex-Mex-American really. I would much rather have El-Taurino or King Taco, which are the best places in LA for Mexican. They have the best Burritos, Tacos (real ones) and Tortas. I like just the basics, meat. rice, beans, ciltanro, onion and hot sauce in my burritos.

For those worried about the calories, just don't do the rice. That's 300 calories right there. Stuff is SO CALORIE DENSE. Burrito bowl with chicken, black beans, couple of salsas, and a little bit of cheese is actually quite healthy and still quite good.

Not often enough. I tend to save it for special occasions, though. Like on the way home from the gym on a friday. After a 2 hour workout I need all the calories and proteins I can get!
