on the topic of italian food, i've got to say that if you dont go to the right places, it tastes absolutely nothing like italian food in Italy. I dont get how the two could be so different... but it is.
Mind boggling it is.

Yea i totally agree. Ive been to italy 2x, and i can def say that my restaurant is REALLY good. My parents were both born and raised in sicily. My grandmother and uncle made all the recipies, and they are the exact same from 28yrs ago when we opened. Trust me, its good lol.

I wish I knew, but some friend are planning the trip, I'm just cruising along

i know we're headed for rome, cinque terra, and a place or 2 others along the way. I'll be really glad to hide from my gosh darn cell phone for a week and a half though,

plus the board will enjoy having no smart ass remarks from me for the same amount of time!

Cinqueterre is beautiful. Rome is just...amazing. Honestly, it's...amazing. I could go on and on and on and on.

If your parents were born and raised in sicily, there is no way, I would say anything but yes to them! Hehe jk. I wasnt saying alllllllllll Italian food in the states is bad; but when I try some of the places especially in Boston (and in the North End, which is the Italian district); I think to myself like am I missing something??

I'm sure you guys do whats right and is very tasty. Apart from that, I just came back from Rome a month ago and I stayed at the Hotel 47. Very, very nice place. Great rooftop terrace bar area people! and the view is to die for. Also, although the hotel rates are insanely high, Positano near the Amalfi Coast, is simply divine.

Hahaha that place is SO BAD. I one time tried it w/ my bf.. i wanted to see if we had any competition. How could i judge if i have never been...

I'm just stoked because for the first time I get to renew my license this year and don't have to go down to the DMV. I even get to keep my same picture, which is from 5 years ago and I actually LIKE this one. Whoo hoo! I still look 30 in the pic!

Haha i have been one of the rare few who actually takes good DMV pictures. My Id card, passport, license pics were all pretty good LoL. And then when im actually TRYING to look nice in a picture, i come out goofy as hell.

It was the same for me when I had this picture taken. I was so surprised that it was a good one. But it was, and I swear they will have to pry this license from my cold dead hand. (but I am not vain or anything

thats funny i have the exact opposite deal with me. im 20 and ive been out with my friends, all of whom are in the 22-25 ballpark, many times. been to clubs, bars. never been carded. i always "forget" it at home.

i want italian food, im donw in san diego like every other week. give me the 411 bella, i tip well...haha...
