Went by GameStop yesturday.

GS: "We won't get it until Thursday."
awkward pause...

me: "But my receipt says Street Date: 09/21"

GS: "Its changed."

Went to another GS store, they said they would have it on weds. If they don't today I may check out Walmart/BestBuy. I see no reason to pre-order a game they aren't going to delivery to me on time. Just cause it isn't a AAA Halo Reach title doesn't mean its 'ok' to be sloppy on release.

Best Buy has them in limited quantities!

Decided to give it another shot this morning. Called 2 Gamestops, one said Friday, the other said Thursday/Friday. Went to Best Buy and they had 2 copies... one was sold already, one was on hold.

Had him check the inventory for other stores in the area. Next closest BB was sold out of both their copies; but a store about 30 min away showed 4 in stock. So he called them while I stood there and had them put it on hold for me!
Drove straight there, and now it's sitting here next to me... haven't even opened it yet

So call your nearest BB and have them hold a copy for you!

Called my buddy in Phoenix to tell him to try his Best Buy. He went up there and was told none of the Phoenix area Best Buys will get it till tomorrow.

if anyone is in the tri-state area or new england area, i'd recommend ordering from walmart.com.....the game ships out of albany, ny, so you'll get it in a day.

The store right by where I work is showing they have them now! But I cant leave work now to go get it! dammit! Im going to take the chance and stop by the best buy near my house when i get home from work...if they dont have it, ill just get it tomorrow.

well the store by my house isnt showing they have it, but maybe by the time i get home they will. if not, i'll just get it tomorrow...or i could go to the one by work after work and take a later train home...or i could go to the one thats closer to home when i get off the train... the choices are endless!

Very immersive game, you play through career mode entirely in first person, even during the pre/post race stuff (can switch cameras during the race, but the helmet view is working best for me sofar). I'm loving the challenge tho, makes it feel very rewarding when you climb up the standings...there is definitely no "start the race in last, then fight your way to the top before the end of the first lap" stuff here, hehe.

I went to the best buy near my house and they showed they had two, but they couldnt find them haha wtf.. the gamestop said they are getting them tomorrow.. I am going to go to the best buy near work.. hopefully they still have some.

freaking BS, just got back from GameStop and they have the game, they just cant sell it cause it wont scan into their computers, so no GameStop will sell them till they fix the issue
