I think the guys who were involved in the fun of the thread, have been banned a few to many times and were cautious as to how they approached things

No, it's called admitting to drinking 6 or 8 beers. If he passed FSTs and the police didn't bother with a PBT, that's their fault. COULD it have been a crime? you bet. Did he beat the system? Probably. Will he fuck up again? Definitely, although I bet he keeps his mouth shut about it form now on...

ex fucking actly

Which is why Blake did what he did, proved him and others on here information on the internet can be found quickly with the right people. I have an idea as to who one of the guys was, but that doesnt matter.

I have seen other threads on another forum of a 18 year old kid making a thread about racing by himself in a neighborhood because cops werent going to see him, and he is now in jail because people reported him to the local PD because he was racing where kids could be walking, it was his dads M5 by the way

moreover, this guy was obviously being a total douche about the whole thing, knew it was wrong, but decided to defend his actions like a 4 year old. well, turns out this guy isn't just some cubicle worker, he's vice president of a fairly large bank. (although i suspect he's just VP of a specific department, because it strikes me a little odd that an exec VP of a bank would be on a forum anyway. many companies have policies against stuff like that for this very reason, and the execs abide because they're getting paid the big bux.) either way, for someone to be so brazenly reckless, whether high-paid exec or not, and brag about it like he won, well that's the person that goes out a couple weeks later and kills a family. i've seen it happen to a few close friends. cab is $15 TTL from most bars i frequent to my house...that's the price of about 1.5 goose cocktails. that's a pretty nominal charge to ensure safety. dui's are literally 1000x more expensive than that one cab ride and vehicular manslaughter...well, dat ass is gonna get taxed in the pen.

i'm not innocently preaching, by far, but i have made the step not to do that anymore, and haven't for a good while.

haha awesome. canadia probably would prosecute a little easier and quicker than 'mericuh would for something similar. we have too many loopholes here.

it is my dream to have a thread go viral on e90post

cab is 15$.. damn
in Montreal a cab to my place is like 45$

I just don't drink.. if we have a bottle, I'll pour more juice than alcohol (like 5% alcohol, and 95% juice) so no one busts my balls.. Otherwise I just order juice or a coke and if anyone busts I'm like "yeah, there is rum in this"
what? they're going to test it?
drunk people get annoying with the whole "why ain't you drinking man! let me get you a drink man! be a man man! I'm so hammered man! you should be too man!"

I don't enjoy alcohol and think that people feel the need to get drunk every weekend because:
a) they don't know how to have a good time
b) they don't actually like the people they are hanging with and need a "social lube" to make them more tolerable

tipsy is not a fun feeling, let alone drunk.. :/

Hey Mike - how does highway jurisdiction work in IL? I thought only state police could pull you over on the highway, but saw someone pulled by a County sheriff yesterday

I thought that County Sheriffs can pull anyone over on any road in their county. Same goes for police, they can pull anyone over within their city limits. I remember reading a story, it might have been in Illinois, where part of a major interstate cut across the corner of a county for only a mile or two. Even though you couldn't get directly off the highway into the county, they would send Sheriffs out to that strech to pull people over.
