Must be real restrictive, all I know is that a guy I spoke with who owns a performance shop in Florida slapped an exhaust on a GTR and tuned it with the Cobb AP and the very next day ran 10.9@128 at Orlando Speed World.
You should make ~ 520 AWHP with those mods.

I would pass on the Chevy and Nissan...
I have a few cars and honestly my next car from the $70k to $120k would be a used Lamborghini Gallardo, Lamborghini Murcielago, Audi R8, Ferrari F430, or nothing...The Ford GT40 I might also consider but I would save some more money and get what you want. I hate settling... But thats me. I would really consider a Lamborghini Gallardo and I would cash in some of my stocks and go UR Stage 1 Turbo, drop some weight, and get some really good tires and piss all over a stock ZR1. Unfortunetly we do see kids 16-29 years of age that have been spoiled (or not) as they have grown up and that's on their parents. Nothing wrong with that at all if that's your thing. I knew a 17 year old girl driving around a manual Ferrari 360 Modena. Is that wrong? Yes and no. Who are we to say she should have something or not? We shouldn't. Do you think she knew the value of money? Probably not, but why should we lose sleep over her life and choices? Just live your life. Just accept the facts that some people are more fortunate than others. I have been to Ferrari meets where I heard some of them put the BMW M3 in the same category as the Honda Accord. Ohh well, I won't lose sleep over it and they can be arrogant all they want. I don't care but you see it all the time... Anyway I am rambling and have to go work on my M3.... and I am on vacation for the next 3 weeks, PAID!!!!

yep, i got a 335i when i was 18 and the parents aren't helping me purchase another car ever again. if someone questioned my family's wealth i would just turn my nose and ignore them instead of listing all that stuff off

I'd say gtr is a go. For 60-70 you can easily pick one up second hand with low miles. Put a few mods in her and damn, not too many cars will hang. Z06 is a great benchmark for speed. GTR will definitely take the z06 in the quarter from a dead stop. Will need just a few mods to beat z06 up top but extremely obtainable. Plus, the GTR is rare...which is nice to have.
Getting my car faster than a z06 is a goal we commonly share. Have fun, and you can't go wrong with GTR or the Benz. Just my .02 SG |
