There are viruses for mac, just not as many as for PC's so I wouldn't say never. You're chances are far less, yes. That will change in the coming years. Hackers target the mass, and with PC's having nearly 90% of the market you get more bang for the buck going after them. But with the rise of Apple it creates a desire to go after OS X as well. In other words, it's just a matter of time, dude.

All devices will have their fare share of issues. Computers are complex devices, regardless of what OS you have issues will come up. Just like Japanese cars tend to be more reliable they will still nonetheless have issues. Nothing is perfect.

I run a triple boot mac pro, with 9 VMs in vmware as well.
Programmers gotta have ALL the operating systems. |
