Well, theirs no REAL race without a car being Stock for Stock. Therefore every car being compared should be Stock for Stock. Now, in a straightline Stock for Stock the 335i will eventually pull on the STI and EVO, If no one agrees with me I have videos to prove them. But...But on the track Stock for Stock, the 335i does not have a chance with the STI's and EVO's. Period Thread/

nevermind, I though it was in the air that the 335i stock can pull on them straight aways.

I usedd to have an 06 s2k with cold air intake + full invidia catback exhuast. that shit was loud. some ppl would want earplugs while sitting it in. the greatest feeling was rolling through parking lots and revving it and have all the car alarms turn on. the 335i seems a bit too quiet for me but its arite. much faster.

s2k was a really fun car to drive but it would hurt my back and 2 many things would rattle in the car and sold it cuz i i realized it wasnt the safest car.

ya i wanted to look into a evo but they wanted like 550 a month for it so it wasnt worth leasing.

no regrets what so ever! it's nice to be able to drive down the street/freeway, watever, without having to look over your shoulder every 3 seconds in fear that you're gunna get pulled over even when you're not doing anything wrong! my mom got pulled over in my last evo for no front license plate, window tint & exhaust...i had an Invidia, not loud at all! & i know my mom wasn't street racing! everyone assumes because you drive a japanese car that you're always speeding & driving like a jack ass...but what's very funny is that it's usually more the opposite! everyone i know hwo owns an Evo drives like my grandma on the streets....i find more that it's the guys i know who drive BMW's & higher end cars that drive like jack asses as opposed to the "rice rockets" not to say that i'm not guilty of driving like a jack ass..the stereotypes are just lame!

Slightly off topic but:

I had a mildy modded (306 whp) 03 Evo 8 that I drove roughly 50K miles. Seriously considered a 335i...but was afraid I'd want to mod it. Since I want to keep my warranty, I decided on getting a Z4M partially because the temptation to mod it would be much less severe. Still trying to talk my brother (who has a lot more income) into getting a 335i as a 4th car and modding the crap out of it... Of course, I'd borrow it sometimes..

Beautiful Evo. That front spoiler must hate you with that driveway.

I just sold my Subaru legacy GT Spec.B, and am awaiting my 335xi coupe. I love RWD, but since having AWD and a turbo, i dont think i want to give that up yet.

it's not like your giving up the AWD turbo for a VTEC, you're giving it up for a TT RWD BMW...if you can drive at all you'll be just fine..I thoguht i would have a hrd time as well going to RWD but honestly, i love it, i take it on canyon's/sunset/mullholland all the time & i just know not to push it past the point of no return. a little slide in the rear is exciting!
