Partly true. Yes, the game won't ship with ALL the 1000+ cars. Why? It takes 180days for one person to create ONE those cars. So not all the cars will be finished when the game ships. But they will be available for download for FREE. Sony is not forcing people to buy addons, like MS does(remember the horse armor for oblivion). Gears devs didn't want to charge for the additional content but MS forced them to.

Some updates:

GT5 Prologue will be released around october in japan and it will also follow a release in north america. And in 2008, the full version of GT5 will be out.

Wow, I'm really glad I don't game much anymore, because just looking and watching these images and vids is making me want to fork over the money for a PS3 even though I have a 360 already...

I have a PS3 and honestly this is one of the only reasons I bought it. That and I do enjoy playing madden, except online because there are so many cheap players on there. Anybody else play madden online ever? I wouldn't mind playing somebody from here, granted they aren't the Falcons

I refuse to play them due to all the people that run with Vick for 500+ yards a game and host dog fighting while on the sidelines.
