You would have to drive in each car to really understand.. There is a reason they are praised because they are insane, The power they
make stock and what they are capable of esp being only 6 cylinders and costing under 100k is amazing.

I have a friend who works for a high end exotics dealer he drives everything from R8 V10's / Lambo's / Porsche's etc etc the whole spectrum,
He also owns an X6M & Z06 that makes 500WHP so its not a biased owner based opinion.

He said on power and performance nothing drives like a GTR.. Their are cars with nicer interiors and cost 10x the amount but for power and capability nothing touches it.

Its def not as nice in the cabin as an M5 or R8 thats for sure.

Seriously though comments like these are idiotic. ANY GTR interior is better than ANY E9X interior. Simple as that.
Why would I even need that? I don't track the car, I couldn't care less about seeing the temperature of my tires and how many lateral Gs I pull on the street. Where is the wood trim in the GTR? How do you know I wouldn't rather have wood trim? Why would I need Recaro seats too if I don't track the car? Are they heated? Do they have lumbar support? The GTR's seats are mostly alcantara and I prefer leather more.

Lol tell me how to qualitatively measure "better." I like the E9X interior better. You can't prove me wrong because it's my opinion, it's subjective.

Not sure if serious? Wood grain? Are we talking performance cars??? The thread was on performance cars which none come with woodgrain.
BTW of course the seats are heated recaros, And you would want them cause they hold you in the seat.

Do you perform the standard comfort seats in your 328 vs Sport Package seats?

We're just talking about interiors, it doesn't make much sense to compare my 328i's luxury interior to the GTR's performance interior...they clearly have different purposes. I just prefer a more luxurious and sophisticated interior that the E9X offers compared to a performance-oriented interior the GTR offers.

To play devil's advocate, I'm sure the Bentley and Jaguar can have wood trim.

Yeah I do really like the CF trim in BMWs, I sat in an M5 with it in the showroom and loved it. I wouldn't spend $2,500 to put it in my E90, but I'll definitely look for an E92 335i/is with it when I upgrade in a few years. The aluminum does look pretty good too.

My 335's interior is bit nicer than my GT-R's. Just a bit. The materials in the GT-R are fine. There aren't soft touch plastics everywhere, but that's fine because that fine layer of rubber just peels off 5 years down the road. I have no problems with the interior at all. The one issue I do have is with squeaks and rattles. There are a LOT more of those than there should be in a 70k+ car. Every GT-R I've been in has rattles and squeaks. Just part of what makes it special, IMO

How is the sound system? Can it be upgraded with say 6.5 inch drivers in the doors? Wish the 335 could.

GTR is nice but but I don't like the looks and the interior is crap. If I had $100,000 to spend on a car, I'd get a used 911 Turbo or Ferrari F430.
its funny that the track edition seems to have made the gtr worse. not only did this new edition place lower than previous years, but the lap time was slower than the previous gtrs also.

from c&d's lightning lap, the m6 posted a faster lap time than the m5 at VIR
