I am. Had the plans drawn up by an architect and am subbing everything out myself in my spare time. It's taking a while, but I'm in no hurry since my townhouse isn't selling at the moment.
I need that interest rate to keep dropping.....

Very nice. :O
I'm not a big fan of high ceilings though, IMO they are a waste of space even though they may look nicer. Paid for or having to make payments?? I'm not sure if I want to start out with a small house that is paid for when I move out, or make payments on a larger house. Either way I will probably be traveling for a while before I find a place that I want to settle down. -Nathan

^^ I guess your not a home owner, high ceilings look amazing... even if their 16ft high, that we you turn on the fans and can fly a kite!
I have 9.5 high ceiling and wish I had more... but thats what distinguishes your house from the others. I know most people notice it when you first walk in... new2the3 nice house... how much does it run? We have sililar houses here costing close to 1.5-1.8mill.

If you earn more then 80.000 US you will pay almost 70% We have free everything. Medical, school (all the way up), libery, roads not paying for anything. But still heavy tax. Cars are taxed with 180% - so your 335I costs fully loaded just about 200.000 USD. Donno about houses - most houses are 140 sqm and costs arround 700.000 USD. Gas is this morning 2 USD/L (whats that in Gallon? - donno) I realy cant find your 30% less in taxes... And i payed 100.000 USD for my 318i - hehe. Damn.

To nice. Been there. Lived at a hotel called Hotel Torenzicht.
At night there where filled up in the bar with Hells Angles. Nice people (?). I took a few drinks with them. Guessed that if it where their bar - they will not do anything stupid about the guests. And so it was. Small cheap hotel - just in red light district. But total nice city. I will be back.

It's not much 1790 sqft upstairs with the sunroom. Panel board finished basement with built in orange leather wetbar, pool table and player piano. (makes the panties drop) All for just over 240K in May 07. Market is going crazy here too, should be up to around 330K this spring!!! Notice my puppy Oliver on the front lawn at only 2 months old
