i'd agree with your mom and just be happy that this is how the guy deals with his small penis syndrome and not by visiting you at night or in an ally somewhere and hurting you physically...
that doesn't mean he doesn't deserve multiple kicks in the balls by a professional soccer player wearing ice skates though...

Thanks for the the posts guys. I didnt call him or speak with him, he doesnt deserve hearing my voice nor seeing me in pain. So, im letting the cops deal with it, and hopefully they will.
My x is 24 yrs old, and he is from Cuba. He was taken here by his father (his mother ran off with one of his friends). On the way to the us, he was picked up by the coast gaurd and spent 8 months at guantamo bay. Then at 13, he came here. After spending time in miami, they came to san diego. His father couldnt find work and began drinking and abusing my x. They were seperated and he was placed in foster care. So essentially, hes been on his own since 14. I guess a main reason why i stuck around, and let things slide was cause of the fact that i felt "bad" for him, and admired that hes gotten this far alone. But my mom always felt negitive when he was around, she said you have no idea what hes been through, his has HAD to affect him someway. I just hope he doesnt try anything worse. I will never get back my grandmothers watch, or my jewelry. He rents from my parents (they own a property), and once my dad gets back from vacation i want him outta there. Inside i feel a little sorry for kicking him out, since he has no where to go, but at the same time, he broke into my house (or hired someone) and robbed me. Backstabbing little bitch.

Here are a few pics
- in the first pic, you can see the xmas gift boxes ripped open, and in the last one you can see the wrapping paper.. how sad. -i had a box ontop inside my closet, it had a bunch of small beads from when i was young (used to make necklaces..etc).. he threw those on the floor, so now when i walk around my room, its like im freaking ice skating.

He actually would rag on me everytime i mentioned the forum or the meets. He thought it was "nerdy" and asked why i want to hang out with a bunch of dudes for? I said well, my car has something to do with it.
One of the reasons why i didnt go to the rosemead meet was cause he didnt want me to. I would ask him over and over to come, but he said he personally doesnt want to sit around and look/talk about cars. Its lame. yet he LOVED my car, always wanted to drive, told me that it was freaking sick, and everytime we went out, he wanted to take the bmw. Ha, now this car will be a memory in his past btw- he drove a 2002 F150

OMG, what a mess!
Man, your x truly has a twisted background! FMI, where there evidences of a break-in on your door or was it opened by a key? |

Wow Bella. I truly know how you feel. I have had my whole house looking like that after a break in. Nothing quite prepares you for walking in to your house after it's been ransacked.
I was away on business for a couple of weeks and the bastards broke in through a back window and cleaned me out. TV, VCR (yes, it was back in the day), stereo, cd's, even the booze! Luckily the insurance replaced most of it, but that still didn't change the fact the some slimy mongrel was enjoying my stuff! I was pissed for weeks. The main thing is that you're OK and hopefully you can try to enjoy what's left of your Christmas and New Year.

OK, last post to this thread and then I'll leave it alone.
1. Change the locks to your house. I assume when you said "knew how to get in" that there might be a spare key hidden somewhere that he knows about. Legal point - any good defense lawyer (aka scumbag) will say that his knowledge of a spare key or other means in ingress is an implied invitation for him to enter your home at will. 2. The cops might find his fingerprints all over the place, but since you have had an intimate relationship it is reasonable that his fingerprints would be in your house - another point his lawyer will make. Based on these things, you will have very little legal or criminal action against him. A lot of the responses here have been "at least your okay". What they are not thinking about is that this was not a random break in by some thief. This is an ex-lover who has emotional and anger issues and obviously can't manage them. Only you know your own situation, none of us should presume to know best for you - but I caution you again to take it seriously. It would be a shame to come to the E90Post forum one day and see a new "did you hear what happened to Bella?" thread.

I agree with Robert Plant, I mean LEDZEP.
CHANGE YOUR LOCKS, and not the ones on your hair. If it was your ex, and it probably was, he will not leave you alone. As he starts to pester you again, you might consider getting a restraining order against him. I would also ask neighbors if they saw him or his car on the day your room was ransacked. |

I agree with Ledzep, and may I suggest installing some hidden security cameras? (just in case, god forbid, he comes back again)

Well i believe he came in through my side door in the garage. If you know how the lock works, then its easy to get in. (stupid us).
My gf thinks i should have told the cops that my x is selling weed in and out of his house. And that he does have a record. But i was scared to say that.. should i?

You need some hard evidence related to your break-in, and if you cannot prove he did it, the best thing to do is manage your risk for further incident. Raising the ante by snitching on him is not the best way to do that. |

that's not related to the break-in, and sorry to say, but I doubt the cop will really care about a weed dealer. The best thing to do is to take the nec. measures to prevent this from happening again, like ksfrogman said, change the locks..etc, and I just realize, if you have a webcam, you can set it up as a cheaper alternative to security cameras, you can set the camera to record when it detects movements (there are programs out there that do that), so if he ever tries to break in again, you've got evidence of him doing so.
