Danny Granger. How does this guy get tossed out by both Indiana and Philly? He was lethal tonight against the Dubs, 18 off the bench, 6 rebounds and two momentum swinging treys. I'm beginning to love this guy.

Indiana wanted him off the cap, though, he's an expiring, it didn't make too much sense. However, they got a serviceable younger piece in Evan Turner, who seems to be doing well for them too. Good pickup by LAC though, Granger will definitely help them in the Playoffs. All they need him for is the occasional good game. LAC has a crazy bench |

Yeah I knew how good of a player Granger was, mostly through news and highlights since I don't watch many Indiana games. I knew he was an All-Star in 2009, and for the most part was the scoring option before Paul George started maturing. But I was expecting some broken down vet who would hobble up and down the floor for a few minutes before Barnes went back in.
He's nothing like that so far. A lethal spot up shooter from 12-23 feet. Very pesky defensively, and he can create his own shots when he needs to. Remember, he scored 18 points (on 7-11 shooting), 6 rebounds in 24 minutes. I have no doubt the game with Golden State goes a lot worse for us without Granger's contribution. He's making an impact.

I love how Steph Curry think he's going to get a rebound instead of trying to box out, and Blake is like "NOPE!" Stomping on the Warriors last night felt good, after the Bay Area refs spoiled it by ejecting Blake in the last game, totally ruining what was a competitive game. I freaking love Blake. He's added so much to his game over the past 2 seasons. Before he used to be just a dunk guy, now he's got post moves, a decent 15 footer, and he is still a menace around the rim in transition. I love the entire Clipper's squad, I think we have a chance to go far this season despite the doubters (even in LA). Granger could collapse in pain at any moment according to some Indiana fans on other forums, but I hope he stays healthy. We definitely need his scoring punch off the bench.

HAHA, looking at the playoff picture today on nab.com, there might be a reason why miami is not putting effort at taking that #1 seed. They don't want to face chicago or the nets in the second round so indy will have to grind it out with them.

I actually don't live in Mission Viejo anymore, have to change that. Sold our house in MV and moved 25 minutes away to South Laguna Beach. MV was a nice place for me and the family for nearly 10 years, but we wanted a more coastal climate, and I finally have a bigger home office.

Looks like he has been averaging about 8-9 PPG for you guys the over past 6-7 games. Obviously the 14 and 18-point performances lately have elevated that scoring average. He'll probably get better as the season progresses. He hadn't played in quite a while until a few weeks ago.

The general trend has been as his minutes go up, his scoring and accuracy has gone way up. I hope he isn't as fragile as people say, I'm beginning to believe 20-25 minutes of Granger off the bench is going to really give us a huge advantage over the other power houses in the West come playoff time.

I just don't want to see the cry baby " Lebron " win a championship. I'm rooting for Indiana. I love watching Chicago play. They play hard defense, and Noah has become enjoyable to watch. My Knicks just SUCK.

Current NBA power rankings:
http://www.nba.com/powerrankings/ 1) San Antonio 2) L.A. Clippers 3) Houston 4) Miami 5) Golden State Since the Clippers have crushed the Warriors since these rankings, I'm guessing Lob City will be #1 next week as long as they can beat Utah and Cleveland.

If the playoffs started today, I think the Spurs cruise past Memphis, and have a good battle with Houston, but ultimately beating them in a tough series (think 4-2, 4-3).
That would put them in the Conference Finals vs either Lob City or OKC. I don't heavily favor the Spurs over either team.

Unusual year of basketball here in LA. Kobe calling out the front office. Watching these Clips on a rampage 10 straight wins going into the playoffs as a top seed. There still isnt as much noise as there would be if it was the lakers in the clips position right now. People are happy for the clippers but at the same time it just isnt the same vibe as the lakers would get, and did get when playing their best ball. If the clippers win it all I wanna see what kind of parade they would have lol

The officiating of this Rockets/Heat game is the worst I have ever seen. The refs should be fined or fired for this. Absolutely disgraceful to the league.

No wonder why NBA players seem lack-luster at times, they have to beat the opposing team and the refs...so why bother.

The Spurs like Always, are well coached seasoned veterans!
But they can't handle a "Young, faster, team in seven games like OKC or even Clippers IMO. And yeah.... Houston wad robbed in Miami. I enjoyed watching my Mavs smoke OKC like a fat ass dooby tonight!

The Houston vs Miami game yesterday is possibly one of the worst reffed games I've seen this season. From a BS momentum swinging "Delay of game", some phantom technicals (why did Jeremy Lin get a technical again), to Lebron refusing to actually set a decent pick so instead he literally grabs Lin around the waist to get Ray Allen free for an "open" layup. I don't understand how game gets reffed so badly unless someone is getting paid.
