Local Lebanese restaurant.
Vegetarian plate: stewed green beans and tomatoes, baba ghanoush, hummus, falafel, tabbouleh, feta and pita. So good! |

Well, I planned for a KD dinner switched to Mini Ravioli and settled for leftover Pizza (quelle surprise) with wifey homemade macaroni leftover (definitely not as good as KD)

Pizza
Why? Because it's Friday! Same as usual lately. 00/rimacinata crust, 4 herb seasoning plus S&P and EVOO, onions, pepperoni, fresh mozz and sauce. With arugula salad dressed with EVOO, balsamic glaze, salt and pepper. Pitted cherries for dessert. |

We went to a beer dinner last night at this place in downtown OKC. We got there early so went to the "speakeasy" in the basement. You have to know the year OK became a state to get the door to open. They were very proud of their drinks down there. Two cocktails with well bourbon was $32.
After that, we went up to the top floor for the dinner. Insanely good, and a great value at $45 each for a 4 course meal each paired with their own beer. |

We did a bunch of yard work and stuff and then were having a few drinks in the back yard, my wife asked what do I want for dinner, Burgers seemed like a good idea. We went and sat on the dock to enjoy the evening a bit more and then we heard our lovely neighbour Rita up on our deck saying she was dropping off a pizza, they have a new back yard Pizza oven and are just breaking it in.....well my night just got much better.
