Another Old Fart issue. I've been having serious dizzy spells lately. They've started to clear up in the last day or two, but I went to my doc today anyway and he says I've been suffering from Benign Positional Vertigo (BPV). And yes, it's an Old Fart malady. Crystals form in your inner ear and when they move around, your world spins violently. One such attack on Monday put me on the floor for 20 minutes. It is not a fun feeling. Luckily it does slowly clear up and I'm almost back to normal. But what a nasty experience. Hopefully this doesn't become "a thing" with me. I could do without this.

That sucks - sorry to hear. Be careful with it and sit down immediately if you start to feel it. I have a buddy with vertigo, who fell while out to dinner with his wife and friends. Broke his jaw and messed up a bunch of teeth. He has recovered but wasn't pleasant to go through it, or the recovery / procedures to fix everything.

Yikes. Luckily I was in my home office with a carpeted floor and I was already bent over, so it wasn't a big fall. Still, I'd hate to have this happen while I'm out riding.

One of my father's uncles smoked these nasty ass skinny cigars. I can't think of the name right now. I need to wait until the needle in record player in my brain hits that spot on the record. We called them guinea stinkers. OMG they smelled terrible. I remember going there for Sunday dinner and the food actually tasted like the cigars.
