I will say this, the only teams i'm worried about next year are from the nfc west. And barring some incredible draft that brings some crazy talent to either team, Seattle has seen everything they can throw at us. However, we have one weapon, that the nfc west hasn't seen yet. i'll let that one sink in.

It been done in baseball but NO team in the NFL has ever been dominant enough to be able to Three-Pete. The only team that ever had a chance to Three-Pete were 71 Dolphins, who lost the SB that season but won it in 72-73. The only other team to make it to the SB 3 or more seasons in a row were the 90-93 Bills but they lost each time they got there (0-4).

NO other team has appeared more than twice in a row in the SB and the only teams to repeat in the NFL have been the:

74-75 Steelers
78-79 Steelers

These were all very dominant teams in their time but even they were unable to Three-Pete. So, although it's "possible" for the Hawks to repeat next year, it's very unlikely for them to "Three Pete" and odds against such a bet would be very LARGE!

However, if a team wins the SB one year and returns to the SB in the following year, the odds are pretty good that the team will win it again -- in fact, every team in the list above did it. So, if the Hawks make it back to the SB next year, as much as I'd hate to admit it, my $ would be on them.

Don't rain on their parade!! Seriously, even if all the key players are retained and not lost to free agency, keeping players focused and repeating is very difficult. We felt the same way in New Orleans. All the key players were back as were the key coaches. No repeat. Not saying it is impossible by any means, just that it is very difficult! Same here, I rarely drink coffee, maybe once every other month because I like the taste. I do however take my fair share of other stimulants!

Seasonal affective disorder is kind of a joke. Next they will come up with a special disorder that every person in warm climates has. You know everyones got tons of major illness right! Drug addiction is an illness, and being overweight, and if a kid doesn't want to pay attention in school or listen to their parents, ie normal, drug em up!
