M140i & M240i

I checked today at the dealers and you can no longer order a m135i from June onwards so it appears they will be rolling out the new models with 340 hp around July August



The new ppk for the b58 engine (340i) will be available next month in Europe, adding extra 20 hp

Speaking of the 4.. with BMWs announcement today of expansion of the M performance line anything showing up in the pipeline that could indicate m performance 4 series or 3 series in the works for the current gen?

At this time the only new M cars on the horizon are X3M and X4M that I have already talked about. The way BMW does its PR, this could be all there's to it.

I asked a dealer close to Lausanne this week and he told me that he did get any news about the release of the M240i

Bye the way, it's a good news if the new model is coming and my dream would be to have the MPPK on it but it appears impossible with the M2.

That's good news. G30 won't even be in production until November, so that timing means the F90 will be just a year and change behind.

I really hope BMW will similarly time the F9x (or whatever the model code will be) M3 closely with the G20 3 Series. If they insist on sharing the front end with the M4 yet again, it must release with that car and therefore lag way behind the initial series sedan debut.

ynguldyn, any further thoughts/ideas/info on what is going on with the 230i, M240i, 330i, 430i, 440i, and 330i/340i GT in the US?

The MY2017 production schedule we've seen circulating shows exactly zero of those models coming to the US in 2016. Is BMW trying to keep their cards close by showing current model names on the schedule instead of upcoming names? Or is it really possible that every single one of these expected engine changes is not going to happen for the US this year?

It would be awesome if we could keep the community up-to-speed. It seems as though everyone is sort of holding off and waiting until something more is known about the mysterious lack of updates (especially the 440i which should have succeeded the 435i in March here in the US as it did elsewhere, but did not).

It says in the August 2015 update that the M2 will get the LCI in 2018 but in the official last update it says 2017. Which one is it? Also any rumours about the M2 getting the B58?
