All I see are dollar signs! I don't think I even want to know what that size costs in Snap-on, my Makita was "expensive".
Dimmer switches are easy peasy! Just make sure to turn off the power and test for residual before rewiring!

Its good to know people in certain places. I couldnt justify buying it off the truck. Im sure its $700+ but this will be great for SCCA/Track events for tire swaps.

That's a nice TV and the X1 processor is awesome. Based on your prior feedback, I'm assuming you pass through sound to a receiver? If so, please let me know if you experience any issues with Sony's Bravia Sync (CEC control). Mine is somewhat unreliable (passing through to a Samsung HW-Q90R soundbar) but I can't tell yet if it is the TV, the soundbar, or my DISH Hopper... I have no issues with sound (yet) when playing movies from my Samsung 4K player, which is connected via HDMI in to the TV. PS: Yes - I ordered a new set of HDMI cables based on the latest standards when I hooked everything up, including from the eARC of the TV into the eARC to the soundbar. As a card-carrying audiophile, I'm definitely NOT using TV speakers. Actually, because I'm stuck watching TV in the bedroom until the new display show up, I brought one of my subwoofers into the bedroom to complement the stereo setup in there. It's bad enough that I'm not using a proper surround system, but I had to at least bring a sub in there. The whole problem with ARC/eARC is it demands we activate CEC. That's an issue for the automation guys because they don't want CEC commands messing up their programming. Traditionally, I've mostly used external sources instead of smart TV apps, but I'm obviously going to experiment with using the TV as a source with eARC. The big question is my Anthem MRX1120 receiver going to utilize eARC. I'm very pessimistic so I'm likely to keep streaming from my Apple TV into the receiver; and using the X950H just as a display.

My Samsung HW-Q90R now has eARC, thanks to a long delayed firmware update. LOL not sure I really hear any difference between former Dolby ATMOS processing and now Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD streams, etc. |

what is everyone using for office chairs these days. Can't find out if these "racecar gaming" chairs are the most comfortable for Work@Home stuff, or if people are enjoying those Mesh chairs with the recline/headrest

Go for ergonomics, not a fad in designs. Our QA guy here has one of the race car style office chairs. He's made comments about it not being all that comfortable.

https://www.autonomous.ai/office-chairs/ergonomic-chair I'm a fan, a lot of adjustability. Still trying to get everything dialed in with it, but definitely more supportive then my last chair! |

I went with a custom 19 from AllSteel myself. But then again I know one of the designers so I got a pretty good discount (still ~$800 before shipping) and worth every penny. Absolutely love it.

How I would potentially use eARC is to stream ATMOS-enabled movies, or perhaps high-res music files from the smart TV apps. In reality, I'll likely just stream movies from my Apple TV into the AVR for movies like I do now. For music I'll definitely keep on utilizing the AVR's built-in PlayFi music streaming. I am just kind of curious if the Anthem's hardware can support eARC. We will see. ATMOS is actually a major benefit when set up correctly. I call it the biggest advancement in surround technology since we started having discrete surround channels (Dolby Digital). Unfortunately the more complex you build a system, the more complex it is to set up.

If you are going to get one I would recommend not cheaping out. Don't skimp by not getting the locking tilt and lumbar options, these are essential. I also like the fully adjustable arms. Specced out they are $1500 but sometimes they show up on Craigslist when a company is liquidating and you can get a good deal. https://store.hermanmiller.com/offic...ang=en_US&

I ordered my Apple Watch 6 with the new Solo Loop band, but I decided I want to try the new Leather Link band for daily use. I'll likely keep the Solo Loop band relegated to wearing during sports.
