Don't abandon your programming.... in the long run it will be better for you even though it may suck at times now. I know how it is to want to push some heavy weight, but sometimes it's best to just saturate the area with as much blood as possible!

Just got home from the gym and had an AWESOME shoulder workout. I found out I have a double standard when it comes to being interrupted. This dude clearly saw me in the middle of my Military Presses and tho I had my Dre Beats on I could clearly make out what he was asking me. So i finished my set, racked the weights and pulled my headset down with an irritating voice. But than later on this cute chick did the same thing 30 minutes later and I was all smiles and courteous lol...wtf!

Just walked into the gym ready to tear up legs!!!
It's around 4:00am.....I actually slept about an hour longer than usual, and I'm ready to tear it up!!! But today is a vacation day and there is nobody here. I don't have a life.....Lol!!!!

I'm torn (read lazy). It's a holiday so the gym MIGHT be closed. Can't be sure it's worth the effort to get dressed, run over and do chest. There's some hawt Dutch chicks running across my TV

5 weeks left until I hit the beach!! Right now I'm in cruise mode at about 3100 calories per day...and dropping about 1.2lbs a week on average. I will probably end up in the 188lb-192lb range....but I plan to start adding some re-feeds in once a week as my body is depleting glycogen faster than I can keep up with it.
Seeing changes everyday, and intensity is ramping up. Vascularity is through the roof, and I haven't even shaved yet. I will probably lose 2lbs just in chest hair. I only groom upper body before going....never have touched my legs. It's amazing how when lean.. just knocking off a layer of body hair makes it look like you just lost about 2% BF! Last year I pinched in at 6.8% right before leaving. Looking to be in that 6%-6.5% range this year...and about 4lbs-5lbs heavier!!!

Ha! Friendly 4th of July BBQ at my house last night and had a few of my neighbors over. I was told by one of them his next door neighbor(husband) doesn't appreciate me mowing the lawn with my shirt off as his wife made a comment with a smile on her face. He wasn't happy about that and claims to put in a complaint to HOA. But yet all the other out of shape dad bods can do it?

Always could grow a thick beard, but upper torso was bare. Once I passed 35, it was like I woke up one day with a chest full of hair. Crazy thing is that is the only place it grows. Just a little down the front of my stomach, but nothing like my family members who look like they are wearing a sweater. My back is smooth...so I am glad of that. I would hate to have a hairy back or shoulders. It has thickened a little since starting to shave it, but I only shave it at most maybe 2-3 times a year. With vascularity...I think a lot is genetics. But I think once you get down to a certain body-fat and add a tan...it's way more pronounced. Also I find it's something that comes in more with age too. I usually do one big volume set for each body-part after I train it to get as much blood into the area as possible. This helps as well. But any product that will promote a pump in the gym will enhance vascularity for a while. All of those are based on being Vasodilator's....meaning they enlarge or aide in the elasticity of veins. But you probably already knew that. I will tell you an old trick that works wonders. Sip on Red Wine before going outside on a hot day...and watch what happens. I have known of Pro BB's that sip Red Wine before stepping on stage because it's so effective!

I don't go smooth in front, just put like a #2 on the electric shaver. I can't tell if it actually comes back thicker, or I just get used to not having as much fur and *think* it's thicker. Shoulders and back I have the wife help me with the electric shaver, since there are just sections I can't reach. I tend to do arms down to sleeve level, and from middle of shoulders back.
My niece waxed my back/shoulders once. I wish she lived closer and was still digging doing that for her uncles. |
