I'm so fucking mad at myself. I left my favorite green utility fitted petite jacket at the other guy's house when I met him for brunch...... I tore my place up this morning looking for it. I checked my linen closet twice. Ironically he texted me this morning "Happy Easter. Think I have a jacket you left if you want me to put it in my mailbox or something?" No, dont put it the fucking mailbox. Ugh, now I have to drive 40 miles one way to pick it up. And now he's not answering to give me a time to be able to get it from him.
I would just order another one but I cannot find it anywhere online. #firstworldproblems. I hope he gives it back to me. Make sure you have all your stuff before telling someone you dont want to see them again. Last edited by Sara; 04-04-2021 at 06:08 PM.. |

I had a FANTASTIC TIME! I got a suite at Hotel Zaza in the Museum district and wore a cobalt blue Zegna suit to meet her in the Monarch Bar in the hotel. I got a corner booth/table and tipped the hostess to escort her to my table when she arrived. She walked up in a form fitting LBD which was INCREDIBLE. Sara has seen her figure and knows that I'm being 100% truthful when I say, "Daaaayyyuuuuuummmmm!!!!!" She has long black hair, light brown eyes and cafe au lait color skin, much like my own but a shade or so lighter. In other words, to me, perfect. She is 5'-4" and about 120lbs and no adipose tissue. Anywhere. We hugged when we met and I seated her on the bench portion of the bar next to me and presented her with flowers. She was floored because she didn't know where they came from as I hid them behind the accessories on the ledge immediately behind our seating area. Pretty smooth if I do say so, myself. We have been talking and FT-ing for the last 3 weeks or so and the conversation just flowed. We ordered heavy hors d'oeuvre along with a couple of drinks. She had a Moscow Mule and I selected a Gin and Tonic with Boodles Gin and 2 limes. We continued to share more information about each other and were affectionate a couple of times in the bar. That's all from this night. The next day we had brunch in the hotel which was very enjoyable and talked quite a bit more about our respective goals and desires in a relationship. Thereafter, went to the Museum and saw the Pompeii exhibit which I highly recommend to everyone, Death by Natural Causes...which I don't recommend, and the Cockrell Butterfly Center...which I highly recommend. All in all we were there about 4 hours and had a fantastic time. She saved all of the tickets and receipts from the hotel to commemorate our first date. Next up was dinner at one of the major steak houses. She was dressed in a silver minidress by some designer I've never heard of but is apparently all-the-rage because 3 ladies commented on her dress. I wore a black suit by Joseph Abboud with peaked lapels and a crisp white shirt. Something neutral and complimentary to her attire. Dinner was amazing and the conversation was fantastic. She is extremely intelligent and has a global view on world affairs and leans conservative, like myself. That's all from this night. The next day, brunch again and an early departure for home. I'll be back in two weeks and she will come here the first week of May. Things are looking rather good.

Do tell. Aside from successful dates with a guy who you were all too over from the get go, because of his schedule, I feel the real story lies within the holes in the details with this small side story. Congrats on successful dates, now spill the story on said jacket. Key bit of unreleased info that I'm targeting - If it was cold enough for a jacket when you got there, it wasn't as cold when you left? And the cold upon leaving wasn't enough to remind you to get your jacket? There is soooooo much more to this story. Not to mention, why where you at the asshole's house again? |

Indeed. I also used to have a girl that would intentionally leave things like, say a jacket at my house. Which would give her a reason to drive back. She had a 60 mile trip my place. Never hesitated to come get her "jacket" though.....or the ear ring, or the bracelet.....or the dignity. Regardless of what she left, she knew what she would get.

It's been raining and pretty cold here the past two weeks so I haven't had to use it. Two weeks later (yesterday) I realized I didn't have my jacket and now I want it back. How is that hard to understand and what holes are you missing? |

So you drove 40 miles to his house for a second date, to take his car to brunch? So did you drive 40 miles for the first date, then 40 miles back 8 hours later? None of it is hard to understand. I don't miss many holes, I just notice when they are there and when they aren't. You don't have to reply to any of this. I just like busting chops in general. |

No, he came to me for the first date in New Orleans. During the first date while he was in New Orleans, he asked me to go to brunch where he lives, I felt pressured and said yes (I know I shouldn't have, but I did, oh well). So in the morning, I got up and drove to his house. Parked my car at his house. I dont know his area very well so he drove us to brunch in his car. We ate brunch. Sat outside for a few hours at the restaurant, I took my jacket off because it warmed up and got hot. Had it in my arms on the way back to his house so I could get in my car and go back home. I hope that makes better sense now. and by you saying "Not to mention, why where you at the asshole's house again?" gives me the impression you thought I was there twice. |
