I probably already said this, but why do people pull out in front of you all in a hurry, and then go 15 mph under the speed limit, and when you look in your rearview, there is nobody? Is it simply being not aware of anything/surroundings? I think it's ok on the weekends, but annoying when you're going to work...

I fucking loathe incompetent people - especially the european tourists who can't adapt just that tiny fucking bit to be competent enough to get through their holiday in America without causing an accident or holding up a line because they can't speak fucking American English.
I don't know how many times in my nine years of living here that I've seen some dumb shit European turn the wrong way down a one-way street and collide head on with another car. There's a fucking sign right in front of your fucking face. They also like to hold up my lines because they want to pay with specific change. I understand our coins aren't labeled, but it's 2014. USE FUCKING GOOGLE and find out what each coin is worth. You also have ALLLL the time in the world to count the change outside of the line. French people are the guiltiest at my store and a part of me just wants to shake them like a fucking baby. Fucking foreigners #Murica

Most are nice and I probably blew the rant out of proportion, but it gets tiring on days when I'm constantly bombarded by tourist-y questions from people who don't speak English, lol.

At this point, I am not in that level yet. I've been to European countries with less than 25 words of foreign language such as Dutch, German, etc.
The magnitude of meeting foreigner/tourist at Flagstaff is beyond anyone's imagination. It will test most patience people. One of the lady i know worked at a truck stop at Flagstaff, and they said 5-10 buses full of tourist comes in to the shop at once. That is crazy traffic for any measure. Quote:

Yeah we usually get Korean tour busses like that. They'll pile into my shop all at once and I still have all the other customers on top of all that.
Shit gets crazy really fast - especially during July 4th weekend.

Jeez... I still think Hollywood / Highland is the worst, and I've lived in Vegas for 1.5 months... Getting anywhere, by foot, by car, by just about anything in a fast and efficient matter? Forget about it. There's always tourists strolling around or some sort of closure/cordoning so that you have to walk alllllllllllllll the way around to accommodate it, even when NOTHING or NOBODY is there, and there's always the same buskers and the same music. If I have to hear the Harlem Globetrotter theme ONE MORE TIME I swear I am going to go apeshit.

When the hubby hands out a shopping list before coffee. Who the fuck does he think he married!?
Anyway, situation handled calmly. I have to thank my imaginative friends today for all the cool word combinations they've taught me over the years. I think it is indeed safe to assume that mistake will never happen again.

People who do this (I can't believe the only photo I could find of this is of Obama). If they wanted your gross hands hovering over the food, they wouldn't put up the glass shield!!!

Not that I do this, but what does it matter? Your hand is hovering above it. You're not exactly digging your fist into the black beans at Chipotle...

^^ I once seen a little kid sneeze under the glass covers for the food at Hometown Buffet. He was short enough to sneeze right under the glass onto the macaroni and cheese.
I have never eaten at any Hometown since. Also, does it seem to only rain a tad bit the next day after you wash your car? |

My dad had this "joke" that he would tell over and over again about the one time my mom asked for a dishwasher and his response was "I thought I married one?"

It's not so much the germ aspect (although that's certainly a factor), but rather that they've taken enough care to put up a large barrier but people still can't keep their damn hands from pointing at what they want. At Chipotle, I have a HUGE problem with it as the menu is so simple. There's nothing confusing about it - just fucking say "pinto beans" without pointing at them like a 4yr old.
