Please dont make your speculations into factual comment. Unless you can see the future nobody know how much rs3 vs m2 will cost here in US.
Gotta luv fanboyism.. Not sure about driving dynamics, but numbers wise i bet u rs3 will put better times then M2. |

I'm sorry, but in this regard Audi is lame. Avant/wagons are a niche market in the US. So their plan is to continue to make RS4's and RS6's in wagon only form and blame Audi America for not bringing it over. A niche within another niche is silly for a company that wants to expand. They should offer the car in both body styles. It can't cost that much more to make an RS4/RS6 sedan.
I was just at Audi forum in Ingolstadt. Lots of happy European customers taking delivery. I can't imagine how many more US customers they could grab by making more RS sedan models.

I want to stick with Audi having owned one continuously for a decade but the holes in the lineup for enthusiasts are growing. I joined this forum because I'm fairly confident we won't see those cars in the US and at this point, the offerings from BMW are more compelling. I like Audi Avants', great looking cars but I'm just not sure that's what I want to drive.

If the RS4 Avant came stateside, I'd trade my M3 for it, like it that much. Not for performance and track capabilities but for all around badassness, the M3 is the better track vehicle if that is your priority, though not mine.
Audi is retarded not to bring this vehicle stateside, even if they forced customers with the wagon body style people would by it, a sedan would likely do very well also. |

The newer cars with the the sports differential are fairly neutral when being pushed hard. Can't do anything about the weight, though...

All the more reason for Audi to make the RS4 and RS6 in sedan form.

To me it was strange that they went with the supercharged V6 to begin with. Sure, it's a great engine from what most reviewers say, but it's the odd man out both in the VAG lineup and across the industry (although Jaguar has a supercharged V6 too, but then they already had the supercharged V8 for years prior to that). It seems a pretty good bet that the turbocharged V6 will soon take over for the supercharged V6 across the Audi lineup.

RS4 Sedan coming to US, in 2017?
http://www.leftlanenews.com/audi-pla...-us-89172.html
interesting, how long has it been since it was sold in the US? Audi would have the only AWD car in the segment (unless Jaguar makes theirs AWD, which is possible). I am now re-thinking my buy/lease strategy for my M3 (goes into production next month), might want to lease it for 3 years and get the RS4 in 2018, always wanted an AWD 500 horsepower car in this size class |
