so, what i'm trying to say is that Lexus or the G35 or the A4 are not necessarily bad/ugly cars, they just don't appeal to you.

Wow guys, I was pulled up by a IS350 today also man, and man it has the SAME color as mine, "WHITE." Haha it was this black dude in it and man he kept checking out my ride since I had works done on the car already. Haha I kept wondering what's he thinking about.... And you know the most funny thing is that he has the license plate customed, which reads "PHATLEX" I was like "wdf.....???" Haha when he drove away, I was totally laughing my ass off. I dunno man, for some reason I juz dun feel that name you'll. Man I am definitely not disrespecting the IS guys, but man this is juz funny. Oh wellz, juz something I wanna share

Whoa... some 3ers are overdosing on the haterade. Maybe since he bought an IS350 he favored some things over others. Quite possibly he prefers the comfort and luxury he gets from lexus. Maybe he doesnt like throwing his car into corners but does like to accelerate. The IS350 is not really an inferior car to the 3 like some of you make it out to be. Its just a different car for a different kind of purpose. So i'm pretty sure the little boy racer in his little blue car took off on you because he wanted you to race him so he could show you that his car was faster than yours in a straight line, the same way you would try to romp him in the twisties. And if you did that, maybe he would get on my.is and start talking about some oldracer that thinks this is driving fast around corners makes you the next Mika Heikkinen or something. Lets face it corner addicts, for those of you that live in the States, we're a country of straight highways and interstates, and fewer back roads. So before you go ahead and spend 4 pages on a thread bashing a car that does many things so very well, consider that there are people who prefer those inds of cars, and why it may make them lesser to try to take advantage of a car they know that is slower than theirs in a straight line, it doesnt make you any better to talk about him like his car is a Geo Metro. If he's a little man for showing off at a light... then what does that make you?

I went from a 135i to is350 and hopefully pick up a cayman-s or E30 next. Each car satisfied my personal need at the time. BMW was to scratch the itch of having a high performance luxury car I had since college. Lexus is because the unreliability and busy life style do not blend. Cayman or a E30 M3 is because Lexus, while a very refined car, is not rewarding to toss around, and I wanted a car with minimum electronics. I can careless for airbags, abs, and traction control.
