You might want to have them align the steering wheel. It is off to the left quite a bit. Note the gauges are not centered.

How about opening the garage doors to see all four cars together.

Seriously, look at the pic, if you were to take the pic head on, the wheel would be more off centered.
There is an adjustment for the wheel to move left-right. The dealer can fix for you.

hey man, very nice car. Congratulations.

If you could choose, would you pick this or something else at that price, for example a gt3 or maserati?

if i could choose id pick an M6 or the audi R8 but both cars wouldve been stock at that price...plus, the M6 has 2 extra seats that shouldnt be there, cause you cant use them...as for the maserati or the gt3, I know a few people like them, but the SL is better in my opinion...(maybe not in terms of performance, cause i have no idea about that...but visually + overall)

Same here man, my parents like to buy me a LOT of stuff as well (though maybe not as expensive as your toys ), and I hate it when people say shit like that. When I got my boosted Z for my first car, people gave me crap for it all the time calling me a rich kid, spoiled, etc. Only got worse when I got rid of that for an IS350 too. Maybe I'm spoiled, or MAYBE, just maybe, my parents like to share the wealth with the rest of the family and would rather me drive a nice car than a beater.

Sorry folks, rant over; just lettin some steam out.

Oh, and it's weird that you say that because I've always told my parents I wanted to be wealthy enough to buy them whatever they want too.

Wait..... I can't believe my eyes...... Did Mercedes Benz cheap out again on the SL? No digital gauge for the climate control!? Gosh..... even my lowly E55 AMG had digital temp gauges back in the days. They seriously need to get their shit together, especially MBUSA. They have no effing idea what the customers want in the market. Anyways, Steve / MBenzNL or Sunil @ Motorwerks Houston FTMFW on OEM Mercedes mods.

Yeah..in NY we get our plates immediately, like the day of pickup they are ready. Seems like the rest of the country gets their very late in the game.

Same in MA, there's no temp registration. You get your full plate on Day 1 of ownership, and need to get an inspection done within 14 days of registration

I actually really like the temp gauges...instead of having to hold a button down or click it furiously, i flick the wheel in one direction or the other...much easier...plus, i love the way it looks with the piano black trim!!!

I guess different stroke for different folks. I grew up with Celcius so if you gave me that guage, I wouldn't know what to do with that. With a digital gauge at least I could flip it to Celcius from Fahrenheit. If my car came like that, I would be calling MBenzNL right away to get a new gauge and new programming.

How do you like the M273 engine so far? I had the pleasure of riding in a E550 not too long ago and it felt very smooth power delivery with loads of torque. Coming from a Merc, my only gripe is that the slush box is a real slush box, even in the AMG models. The old 5 speed is slow, boring, and unresponsive, and the new 7G-Tronic is always confused about what gear to pick, and only marginally faster.
