Since the e38 740i Sport doesn't have enough power for me, I am gonna have to go with a 2003 e39 M5 manual.

My current BMW---2011 M3, cloth seats, manual trans, no iDrive, no sunroof, comp package. I don't see getting into another BMW after this one. It's about perfect. I suppose I could be open to something unexpected from BMW M in the form of the next M3/4, M2 (if one even exists), or even a z4/5 (loved the old clown shoes).

1. My dad's 03 e39 M5. Fast, practical, quick and luxurious.
2. 507/z8. Duh.
3. e30 M3. Beautifully simple recipe for a lot of fun!

In that order

The i3 BEV, without any doubt. Among 12-15 BMWs I've owned, the i3 is the one I've liked the most by far.

Of all the BMWs in history you choose the i3?? LOL

Oh dear the state of the 'modern' BMW enthusiast. Half of you have chosen your own car....where is your sense of imagination?

2018 BMW M2  [0.00]
Had BMWs since 1998. my choice would be M2. I believe BMW's best products are the small RWD coupes since the model 2002, and E30s. To me these are the real BMWs. No one in the market can touch this segment. M2 is the latest iteration of what BMW can do the best and one drive confirms it.

E46 M3 zcp 6spd manual, of course. I would "settle" for an e46 csl as well.

Speaking for myself, my sense of adventure beyond my current BMW requires me to leave the BMW brand entirely.

Funny you should mention that; that’s a more common thought than not these days!
