I've forgotten the one I used which began with C...need to take my Gingko. Around here we have interesting names for bouroughs and towns, but we butcher the pronounciations. For example, in Pittsburgh we have a North Versailles. Pronounced "North Versayls." West of here there's a Dubois, pronounced "Dewboys". Sad but true. Have been to London once, I loved my visit several years ago. So much history! |
