Ohio soon will not require a front license plate

I know Toledo is fighting the State of Ohio fines by citing "Home Rule" which allows them to govern as they see fit as long as it obeys the state and federal laws. Now it's just a matter of the court deciding if the city is violating state and federal laws.

Congrats to all those in Ohio. I always shed a tear when I see photos of member cars with front license plates. It is 2019 after all and I'm kind of surprised in this day and age some states and provinces feel there's a need for a front plate.

As was stated, it provides a good target for cops running laser speed guns to get a good reading on your speed as one reason.

Ohio was the first state in the Union to forbid slavery-perhaps this is fitting in a minor way.
