[Speedtrap]

Would appreciate a great deal if you can let us know the process on post processing to get this effect? step by step? manusl does noty really help as I find I do not get the right colours. Can anyone help or its a balck art? Many thanks.

I think with the combination of a good camera and post processing, you can do a lot. I probably wouldn't play with the focus too much to make things over blurry because it sometimes doesn't look natural. Most of the time I'll control my aperture to get the proper effect so I don't need to electronically modify the image. Often times when playing with software to make the image look like the background is blurry, the fine edge between the actual object and the background isn't clearly defined. By using a correct aperture, you're guaranteed that the image will have the correct depth of field look.

After a quick clone jobby. The ones on the hood were easy due to blown sky. One on the bumper needed a clone and airbrushing the bumper again.

that last one has the potential to be SO cool with the lightning but it just doesn't do it for me... really awesome idea but i just suppose catching lightning on camera is a whole lot more complicated than it seems so.... good job

thnks. not to bad for a point and shoot camera.
waiting is the tough part, even on time shots> looks...different.
u just gotta be out on a night with many of them.
