Interesting wheel, but I'll take the alarm clock for damn sure.

I wasted x amount of time viewing this bullsshit video. Was put off after "hi it's Schmee". How many M car purchases is Schmee influencing ...sure as hell influencing my personal M fleet.

Finally a modern M ad I can enjoy. Well done. And smart move re wheels. If they really are going to drop Wheels like Shoes - I can see the thinking there. It's not all bad. Well played M

That's pretty much impossible in terms of the supply chain. Imagine how many wheels they'd have to stock at each dealership... unless they'd choose select dealers to sell these items - which means people would have to pay a lot for shipping across countries/continents.

The amount of haters are unreal. Now you mad that BMW made a cool little video that is not targeted towards your age group???? Some of you really think too highly of yourself. Just appreciate the nice cars in the video and be happy you can still get a Manual in a M3.

With those rims and that body color and the g80 from that angle, the grill works.

So many cool M cars, gotta appreciate the fact that BMW is offering so much choice to its customers. And the G80 in frozen grey looks stunning. |

No matter what they do with their body styles, M rims have always looked so amazing, one of the best in the industry

Oh man, chill guys. If we reacted to every ad that we found stupid, we'd be walking around angry all the time. Save your anger for the actual products
I do have a couple of thoughts - 1. Not that I begrudge their hustle, but influencers starring in automaker commercials really emphasizes the point that these folks are independent marketing vehicles for companies - not a source for objective reviews or opinions. 2. I hope that BMW is just having a little fun and not actually planning to 'drop' merch in limited quantity releases like this hypebeast shit. Trying not to read too much into all this |

You know the funny part. Had they screened this ad in front of a couple of hundred M owners before release they would have found that 80% would probably purchase that alarm clock, and so releasing the clock at the same time as the ad would have netted them a lot more than wheels.
Personally, I'd like to see them release one of those alarm clocks per M-car, so an E30 rpm gauge/sound bite clock, an E46 clock, etc. 11ty billion dollars is what they'd make. |

Nothing that a little dremel action and plastidip can't handle 😂 It's all a bit tongue-in-cheek with the M-Town thing, so I'm sure they love the comments on here - the Easter eggs are awesome and the other stuff is exaggerated for attention - the ///Marketing team is having a blast (If it were Tesla, Elon would have the alarm clock for sale on the website by now) |

I thought I commented on here before when I saw the vid earlier. I kinda thought it was pretty cool video. So many great Ms. Also thought it was fitting for M drivers, driving like maniacs around town hahaha well maybe not all M drivers drive like that

But the spokes look terribly thick, and the holes look far from elegant. If that's a real wheel I certainly wouldn't purchase it over an FI-R, which is already dangerously close to the 763M in price for me.

I thought it was unique and loved seeing all those different generations of M cars together. Edit: Has anyone ever seen another rim with similar equivalent 3D design/depth? I think it really opens up a door to what might be possible in the future. https://www.cnet.com/roadshow/news/h...eels-concepts/ Last edited by amzbimmer; 12-04-2020 at 02:34 PM.. |
