for sport: Hogs, Whitetail, Black Bear, Elk and a Bull Moose (hundreds of birds)

for work: I briefly worked in a slaughterhouse in my early 20's. That was mostly cows, 100's a day.

and a couple dogs.... because it's more humane than watching them suffer

How did I feel? Unless vegetarian, someone has to kill the food we eat. Putting down a pet is horrible though.

I'd never understand killing/hunting for sport...something was living and then BANG!! it's not just cuz someone gets their kicks doing that? There's no useful purpose. I'd have more respect for ppl who really wanted to show off their masculinity, wrestle and kill a bear but they don't dare. Pulling a trigger is easy, a child can do that.

There are some members here who eat what they kill and I think that's honorable/admirable. I'm only a wannabe/failing vegetarian, so I don't judge in that aspect; yup, someone had to kill (for me) to get that meat on my plate.

Yeah, they said in the link that it was a deer but one guy said it was a fox. Either way that car is totaled.

Everything living is eventually not. Plus for most wild animals it's probably going to be a much more gruesome death than being shot and dying almost instantly or within a few minutes (depending on the skills of the hunter). Most wild animals will probably be eaten by predators or die slow painful deaths from disease.

That's not a very convincing argument. Cmon.

This, but only one. It was a 285 year-old tree next to our driveway, and here looooong before the houses were built. George Washington was in our area when that tree was mature, and it saw a lot of history. It was still pretty healthy, although it did have a few dead branches on it.

One calm/sunny afternoon, a dead limb fell from the tree and put a noticeable dent into the rain gutter on my Audi race car sitting in the driveway. That tree was gone in less than a week, costing me $2,500 to pay a tree crew who needed three full days to take that massive tree down.

How do I feel? Guilty enough to buy a tree farm down south as penance.....

I think a roach and a palmetto bug are the same thing. At least I haven't been able to find anything online that distinguish them. My pest guy seems to believe roaches are the small ones that are usually in large groups and the palmetto bugs are the big nasty flying loaner fucks! The big ones are the only ones I've ever had to deal with. They can all die as far as I'm concerned!
Luckily I only get two or three a year that sneak into my house.

And I agree, all of them can can die roach or palmetto.
