I found out today that I was one of the President Club winners in my sales org and will get a free trip to Hawaii with a +1. The destination will be Maui, but I was just there over the holidays so I feel like it won't be as good

Already had a very light shower this morning unfortunately. The worst of it is tonight into tomorrow morning. And I’m gonna be driving past the PDC later this morning so I’ll be looking for that green M3!

The online calculator for Toyota, despite asking for my zip code, does NOT calculate tax, license, nor registration fees when it spits out a monthly estimate. That was a truly embarrassing offer I made based on their calculator.

PS, I ain't paying $7500 over MSRP for a Taco. I WANT a Taco, I certainly don't NEED a Taco.

We have a 16-day cruise to Hawaii planned in a couple of months and I can't decide if I want to upgrade from a balcony to a suite. It's driving me crazy.

While I'm ranting, I hate having to do the math to determine if a drink package on the cruise ship is worth the money. I'm cursed with business case mentality. How many drink would I have to drink to break even? It's too f*cking stressful.

I didn't think any cruise lines made you pay any longer for drink package. For reference, when I went NCL over Christmas, basic mixed drinks (Jack/coke) was $12. Daily special fruity daiquiri with coconut or fancy glass was generally around $18. IF you have a package, they would charge $6 to your room.

I averaged 11/day, beginning with Bailey's for coffee in the mornings, so I would have got my money's worth if it wasn't a free upgrade.

Once in awhile they have drink packages for free as a promotion, but not usually. Princess has two bundled packages. They include wi-fi, crew appreciation (tips), drinks, premium desserts (I know, right?), and believe it or not, fitness classes. These packages are $60 to $80 per day! So, big drinkers can justify paying these prices by talking about the value of the 24-7 wi-fi and the crew appreciation, and saying something like, it's break-even at 2 drinks. If I have just 3 drinks, I'm ahead. If they offered it for free I'd take it, but for $60-80 per day, no thanks.

I average 1 or 2 a day and my wife doesn't drink. So these packages are lost on us. If I were more of a drinker, I would be all over it. I see the appeal. How nice to order whatever you want, whenever you want, and not have to think about the cost.

The rain cleared up yesterday so took the family driving around Malibu and spent the day chilling on the beach in nearly perfect weather but now I have to have all the sand vacuumed out of the car.
