I’m with Octopus Intelligent and only use a granny charger. For those doing the same, when you change the required charge level are you doing it only in the energy suppliers app or do you duplicate the change in the BMW app as well?

The range on my 30e Phev is dropping now it is getting colder, I take it this is quite normal? 80% was giving me about 37 miles, now only showing 34 miles range after todays charge

Yes it’s normal, during warm weather mine was showing around 52 miles @ 95% now showing around 45 miles. The range is only a guesstimate based on previous driving, if you have been doing a few short trips the range will also drop.

Agree with Tunners.

Range is a guesstimate - just like in any ICE car.
It will make a guess based on your previous driving.
But it could be wide of the mark, depending on actual circumstances, when you actually drive.

Regarding the range quoted on the guessometer.
In the uk, expect a reduction of about 20% from typical summer to winter temperatures.

Yes, mine also drops from around 53/54 in the summer to 44 in winter at 100% charge.
