A crooked wheel doesn't mean the car is not aligned properly.
But my wheel was like that too, and I took it to the dealer and they just did the alignment.

Why don't you take it in and have it aligned?

Yeah I’m going to give that a shot. They better not charge me for an alignment! Lol

Just tell them (if true) that it's been like that since you got the car.
It was my case, so they didn't charge me, and warranty covered it.

Beware they had a note saying "if over 10,000Km, warranty won't cover it". I was at 6,000Km (waiting months for the new software of the alignment machine to have M2's specs).

Do it ASAP. Your tires will thank you too.

I am under 100 miles rn. Picked it up just a few days ago. I’ll take it right away to address this. As you mentioned, better for my tires.

See if you can get the dealer to address it.
Ultimately you will have to get it done.

There was no HAS paperwork with my delivery, only tools and door sticker. Service advisor yesterday told me an alignment is $299. I said without proof of port alignment it’s on the dealer to prove numbers are on spec. I will straighten him out Monday morning during a heart to heart at 8AM. I hope he’s prepared.

Good luck with that. Going to be tough to prove your point and "win your battle" just because there is no spec sheet in the car.

If you plan on adjusting/lowering, I would just move on since you will need the new alignment anyway.

Suspension already lowered at standard port setting.
How can HAS purchasers be assured alignment is correct without documentation? Others have paperwork accompanying the car.
Asking for a friend.

Asking for a friend but your post referred to "I" when what "you" were going to do.

How can you be sure an alignment wasn't done just cause the spec sheet not there? Just playing devil's advocate.

Yes, I know it comes at BMW's standard setting. It is still a little on the high side, even after settling. I will be lowering so another alignment on the books. Also, if changing rims/tires, a new alignment should be done.

My car was delivered without paperwork as well, planning on asking the dealer to check the alignment when taking in for the first service.

Just added MP HAS on my build. I will have to keep all this in mind when I take delivery!

Great info in this thread. I was able to get the HAS kit added to my build. Hope to see the car some time in March.

Good choice, enjoy the peace of mind having the car setup from the factory. It rides and sits perfectly!
