Newsong is a pretty legit guy on 6Speedonline. He's been to Cars & Coffee in OC a few times. His little kid is going to be a speed racer when he grows up, he's like 2 and can petty much identify any car, no kidding.

He used to get under my skin on here but now that I think back on it maybe he was just testing the water.

Kampfer: I guess we don't get a response on the ride quality. Oh well.

The ride is a bit firmer than my M3 with EDC set to normal. When you set the suspension to R mode it really stiffens up and transforms the car. The ride is very very liveable daily IMO. Not too stiff at all with the suspension set to comfort.

Yeah I don't know. I just searched for his account here and he's not banned. Weird.

I do have to say though, as far as car forums go, this place isn't one of the best I've visited. There are a lot of immature posters who take any opportunity to dig into someone. I'm not sure if the price range of a 3 series attracts too many kids or not, but it's one of the more annoying parts of this forum.

You said it before... the 3 series is at a range where somebody who just got out of college, and a new job, can somewhat afford (lease). Then the Euro = self-entitlement factor comes in, despite the fact that said person probably never thinks of investing in the future.

I talked to him maybe a month ago on 6speed and he just lurks the e90 forum because of the rampant fanboyism. He wasn't a fan of the questionable reliability, and ricer mentality, of the N54, either.

He goes on a Corvette forum a lot more and some other one I think... funny how this thread "focuses" on him now...

I was referring to 6speed. And he is not banned there as I thought. In fact I just saw a post and his rep line is now long and green.

Haha, no. I just got really busy this week with clients.

As for NewSong, I think he is a cool guy in person. On the internet, he tends to get into arguments that I personally would avoid.

Good choice for performance, bet it is a blast to drive, but I will be honest, I think the GTR is an ugly car...
