I would say that the worst airline is the one which your life might be at stake.

Shitty air stewards/stewardesses or horrible customer service isn't a big deal compared to death..

thats what it looks like but its probably too early to tell. there are some crazy pictures on twitter of the actual wreckage with the bodies strewn on the ground. gruesome stuff

I have a feeling Pro-Russian Ukrainian separatists shot it down by accident. I noticed they started to remove all posts and tweets associated with their surface-to-air weapons etc. Whoever did this will obviously try to cover this up, just like when USA covered up military jets killing bunch of people in France long time ago, also by accident

I don't know if it was by accident. They shot down 2 Ukrainian military jets in the past couple of days/weeks...it;'s now a pattern...

That's why its an accident, they shoot military jets on purpose, they shot this civilian plane by accident obviously. They have no reason to shoot it down

Its still not 100% clear who shot it though

On the other hand all those accounts don't really belong to actual separatists so gonna have to wait and see what actually happened

Possibly it's not an accident at all.We 'll see...

The only way to 'blame' Malaysian Airlines is because MA took the shortest route, which is the cheapest off course. No offence , just saying. But that's the way it goes.

Should have been internationally/ UN forbidden to fly over war zones in the first place as a civil aeroplane imo.

I saw on VTM news that they were interviewing passengers that were flying on MH17 today, on exactly the same route as the plane which was shot down. Musy be incredibly frightening. Schiphol closed the Malaysian Airlines counter and even put a wall around it so people cannot ask questions regarding which route will be taken.
