Some fun pics here. I have a CF card with some new shots, but my motherboard threw a S.M.A.R.T. error for the drive that my main light room library is on, so I am not going to add any more data to it, and am currently backing it up to restore to a new 4TB unit. The old one is a 3 TB drive that was well over half full so it is taking a bit of time...
So here is an oldie from the 2012 Sonoma Historic Motorsports Festival. The Cobra was by far my favorite car as a teenager. Well Used Cobra by lennycarl08, on Flickr |

I've just borrowed a Fuji 60mm Macro lens from a pal to try on my XT 1. Here's a sample . . I'm impressed with the IQ so far.

Think I have my stupid computer sorted out. Stupid windows won't recognize a drive over 2.2TB out of the box. At least it gave me the opportunity to finally switch from LR 5.7 to LR CC as I am guessing 5.7 won't support the 5DIV. From last weekend:

Great shot! Now, that's the way that Carol Shelby meant for a Cobra to look...ridden hard and put away hot. You know that you'd love to meet the owner. He'd be someone that could drive and would invite you to drive it, if he knew that you could drive, instead of make it a pedestal museum piece. Dave

Today we were in Hereford to see the cathedral and walk around the shopping area. There was some work going on at the cathedral and the woman who greeted us apologized for the ensuing dust the workers were raising. Personally I would have thanked them with a pat on the back.

What lens is that? There's amazingly little geometric distortion.

Just sitting in the back yard playing with the new camera (waiting for it to get dark as the moon is going to be up!)

Ed, that hummer gave you a really nice test. I'll be interested to hear your real world experience with dynamic range and the new IV.
