No news about the Z family..
Z5, Z3....
If Z5 will be an F type rival, Z3 will be in the class with TT and the rest?

F34 3gt Eop

With the Jan 2017 update of this future production thread, I am heartened that the F34 EOP at Dingolfing is now 07/2020. Yes, yes, I know that everyone likes to go wee-wee all over the 3GT, but to me it has a certain functional attraction. And it is (for now) available with the 6-cyl. Our 2016 F31 is much loved in our household (it is really SWMBO's car). But the F31's EOP is 06/2019, which is about a year too early in my own car replacement cycle for a new F31. So a 2020 F34 is perfect timing. Last of the Mohicans, and all that...

SCOTT26 What about the MINI F54/55/56 lineup? I have a source which told me that in july 2017 will appear the LCI for F55/56, but when will be the EOP for these models? 2020?

Or, in other words, 530e = 520i + electric motor, and 540e = 530i + electric motor.
And furthermore, I would expect it to simply borrow the existing setup from the X5 40e and 740e, no? Or maybe a slightly updated version of their drivetrain, but the same idea in any case.

There is a MINI LCI due soon which thankfully removes the stuck on Cooper S rhinoplasty in favour of more integrated forms like the Clubman and Countryman.

Yes, it is an error (now fixed). You can see it listed correctly as 50i in the last bullet point of the June 2016 update.

B48 TU, what's that?

Edit: Ok, Technical Update I gather. But what does it entail?

Hello!
I would like to know if the new X5 40e (G01) receives a battery with more than 12 kWh capacity and if the plug in hybrid is available in 2019 in Europe?
Thanks!

Is there any information on the 335d/340d making a return to the USA or is it dead forever?

So after F20/21 their will be no sub 3 series RWD BMW non-coupe models.

What a shame, I do remember reading that most 1 series owners thought that their cars were FWD according to a study done by BMW, but how many people even know what FWD means? Also every other competitor in this segment is FWD, the BMW 1 series being RWD was a differentiating factor, besides the increased performance.

No. The 2er Coupe,Cabrio and therefore M2 will remain RWD.

Do you know if a manual transmission is an option for the M4 CS?

But still no water injected S55 expected, yeah? Lots of speculation about that right now. It is difficult to see the real motivation for this car is it doesn't get at least some power upgrade. It almost certainly won't represent any sort of reasonable value if it doesn't.

The GTS wheels will disappoint some if true. The spy shots we posted recently show it with the new lightweight M Performance wheels which in addition to the lighter weight, look worlds better than the 666M to my eye.

What doesn't someone sneek in and open that blue test car's trunk (pictures are all over the web from the track shoot). Easy to spot the water tank in there.
That would give us our answer.
