I can't see Nate winning that fight, not the way Cerrone has been fighting lately (and the competition he's been fighting is tough too).

glad bj retired. He peaked at an early age but he has nothing left. You guys are right he has nothing to prove, he has millions, fame, and a family. He's accomplished more than people 3 times his age lol

What do you think will be the biggest fight of the year? Brock/Alister - GSP/Diaz - or Cain/JDS?
Or has it already happened? |

I have a feeling JDS vs cain will be a good fight. I like both fighters but Cain's ring rust might be a factor and the fact that JDS is as hungry as a horse.

to me, it has to be Cain vs JDS. This one is such a toss up, not only in skill but in how much I like them personally. Both are completely well rounded, Cain has a slight wrestling advantage but I think JDS has a slight advantage in striking
the UFC did a great job w/ the Primetime episode for this fight. It really showed what both of these guys are really like GSP v Diaz is going to be great though and Brock v Overeem also but you cant compete w/ a HW tittle fight |

Vitor vs Rumble Johnson, UFC 142 Brazil!
Bout time johnson moved up to 185, cutting 40+ lbs can't be good to your body doing it so often |

Cerrone should win in that bout. Nate will give him some trouble in the beginning but the cowboy is just too solid right now. Yep, read yesterday that Rumble is gonna be staying at middleweight now. Too much cutting definitely wasn't helping help. Leben vs Munoz will be a dl for me. Even if it's free, the card just isn't worth watching to me. |

It may have been a weak ass card but those guys in england got their money's worth. I dled the event and watched it just now. The show was really GOOD. Fantastic event!
you had super high knees, crazy spider crawling onto the back finishes, sold grappling transition displays and the ME was just great to watch. |

Only watched the Leben v Munoz fight. I thought Leben was a bit soft in throwing in the towel as I've seen far worse injuries and fighters continue. Of course, it is easier for me to say that when I'm on the outside of the cage. Not sure if Munoz is deserving of a title shot just yet, maybe one more fight. Sonnen makes the most sense to me but I don't like that guy and want him to wait.

Leben, as far as I've seen of him in the past, wouldn't quit unless he was really fucked up. Hopefully it isn't a bad injury, because I doubt blood in the eye alone would make him stop.
I agree Munoz isn't ready yet. I want to see Sonnen fight AS , and I hope he wins this time.

I'm curious to see what AS v Sonnen betting odds will be. If AS is paying more than what he usually does (which is next to nothing) then I'm throwing some money down on him |

There was only one boring fight the entire night but on the flip side we got to see a lot of up and comer fighters who put on a great show. Che Mills is nasty, I hope that dude works on his wrestling all day every day, cause if he can keep the fight standing, he is trouble for anyone at 170. Renan Barao really cemented himself as a top contender at 135, I dont think I've ever seen someone get someones back that fast. Alves looked great too but not sure if Adebi was all people were saying he was. The Leben fight was good, sucks it ended early. Not sure if it was Chris who called off the fight or if it was his corner, cause he cleary wasnt done when the ref stopped it in the 2nd or maybe he knew he was bound to get KOed by Munos if it kept going, since he couldnt see |

I watched the rest of the card and there were some great fights. All finishes which is what I like to see! I think Leben did the smart thing by calling it off. Almost every fighter goes the full the distance even when they know they're going to lose, it's taking an unnecessary beating. I don't think this is what Leben did though although he saved himself from getting beat up for the next couple rounds. He doesn't seem to get KO'd easily! I think Munoz broke him mentally though. It was still a good fight leading up to that point, Leben can really take some shots.
I watched Cain v Junior countdown show tonight. Should be an epic fight. Both guys are really deserving and great ambassadors of the sport. I think Cain will take it out though. I also predict an Overeem win so next fight will be Cain v Overeem. |
