So far I have only done 430 miles in the X2 so I have not had a chance to fully explore the differences. However, initial impressions are that the B58 engine in the Z4 is much more refined than the B48 in the X2. That’s not to say that the B48 is inferior, it certainly is not, just not as smooth due to its 4 cylinders versus 6 in the Z4 B58. Will report back later, when I get a few more miles on the X2.
