It must be the environment reflection that makes his look Pewter. Regardless, excellent choice on the Skyscraper Grey you 3. And God Speed to you two waiting on your deliveries. You're going to be thrilled!

I came from an X4 m40i. I certainly miss the on-demand neck snapping torque. But I'm obsessed with my X2, the aggressive styling and it's size/stature. It's akin to a modern coupe GMC Typhoon. I also love the way the torque steer feels goosey as you build boost, and I just love to feel to boost build with the RPMs - this affect is more obvious in my X2 than it was in the X4. My X2 also handles significantly better than the 4.

But going from X4 to X2 is more apples to apples for me. Your dynamics have changed more significantly coming from your Z4. How long have you had your 2 and what are your impressions?
It’s Skyscraper Grey. Very nice and a fairly new BMW colour.

Regarding the Z4 M40i v X2 M35i comparison, I do miss the backslapping surge of the Z4 but the X2 is a more comfortable drive and still very fast. So far I have only done 430 miles in the X2 so I have not had a chance to fully explore the differences. However, initial impressions are that the B58 engine in the Z4 is much more refined than the B48 in the X2. That’s not to say that the B48 is inferior, it certainly is not, just not as smooth due to its 4 cylinders versus 6 in the Z4 B58.

Will report back later, when I get a few more miles on the X2.

Happy motoring.

Mine coming in March time (X2M35i) I'm coming from a 2023 M5 Comp so I know it's down on power, but I am not bothered as the roads I use most are full of speed traps
With plod hiding up slip roads, sad days.

Not a sexy spot for a pic, but it's a sexy car.
