Could anyone with their cars already let me know the rough times involved from when you:
1. Received your VIN (status 150)
2. Completed production
3. Arrived in Port
4. Received your car.
I just want to get an idea as I need to sell my car and would like to list it about 2-3 weeks before it arrives.
May car went into Production (status 150, received VIN) on June 19th.
Thank you.

The time between when you receive the VIN and production completes is very quick.

Your main wait times will be in port (mine was almost 1.5 months) and when it hits the boat, and when it finally clears customs on the other side. The biggest wait was to get onto a boat, and for the boat to be able to dock in Australia.

Hi,

I have heard that there are some updates in the BMW X1 from July, 2023 build onwards. (few additions and removals)..

Does anyone have the list of changes?

My vehicle is waiting for a boat however on decoding the VIN I notice build is with interior trim 4HS and not the exclusive M-Sport trim 4LP as requested. The 4HS trim wasn't even an option on the spec sheet. Hoping there is nothing else changed or missing that will present more surprises on arrival.

Could someone with 4HS trim (Aluminium Hexacube Pale) please post a photo so I can see what this really looks like in real life?

That was a global change for all cars from July (was on BMW global site) along with the change in synthetic leather (no reference to the trim change)

Reading this, I am fearful my seats wont be Alcantara/Sensatec combo as ordered but I may have the Alcantara/Veganza combination.
If that be the case I will be seriously pissed.

Is there a noticeable difference? My X1 was built in May with M Sport Alcantara/fake leather seats. Not sure if it’s Sensatec or Veganza but at end of day both are synthetic so not sure it makes a big difference.

Sensatec is not a leather but more like a suede which is something I preferred in our hot weather

Think youve got it wrong about Sensatec - it is the fake leather part that they trim the side bolsters with (now replaced with Veganza). Suede/Alcantara is only used for the centre panels of the seats. See photo below:

Sensatec has been swapped out for Veganza as the fake leather - so it will only change the 'leather' bit of the combination and the alcantara will remain the same.

Wonder what’s the current delay in Melbourne port after vessel docking for quarantine checks and handing over to prixcar.

Also, is there a new link to track Prixcar with VIN ?

My iX1 is on the Boheme which is due to arrive in Melbourne on the 16th August.

According to this schedule:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...t#gid=79611077

They wont start unloading until the 26th August, then I have to wait for it to then sail up to port kembla, and then get to me in Sydney.

So it looks like there is a 10 day delay at this stage in Melbourne

Finally found out our ix1 is on Morning Lena.
Who knows the best way to track the shipping status?

Has anyone looked at the new electric announcements by bmw?

Just following as put in order for ix1 last month here is Sydney, with contingent build date of December.

Anybody know rollout of idrive 9? Supposedly from November?

In UK the ICE version has already rolled out some i9.

Hello Australians,

Can someone please suggest, if X1 (Australia version) display tyres pressure readings on instrument cluster?

I can only see 'OK' written on screen for all 4 tyres but no numerical measurement of any tyre, is there a problem with configuration I may have done or/ the hardware doesn't support this feature?

Thanks in advance.

You can see tyre pressures in the app as well so can check from the comfort of the house before you go out if you need to.

Hi Everyone!

I'm new here. I received my X1 xDrive20i M Sport in Portimao Blue on Friday from BMW in Rushcutters Bay, Sydney. The exact same colour and specs that I was wanting was in stock, so didn't have to wait long at all - just a couple of days. Loving it so far!
