But hey, you got a BMW! Shouldn't be that harsh trying to get away for a bit, hahah! I have to drive nearly 1.5 hours to get to LA from SD!

Yeah, you got me there. I only head out to LA a few times a year. Even the Viejas Indian casino is only about 30 minutes away but I go only once a year. I'm lame, dammit.

Oh and before I forget here's my shout out to The University of Virginia. In-state tuition: $5500 per year.

Cornell is paying me $25,800 a year, tuition covered, along with full health benefits, for the PhD program.
Wow, 5,500/yr? I am still in debt from undergrad loans

Yeah, that's cheap - even at $7100. BTW - you're in the same class as me, hehe - '04, baby!

All of this really makes me feel old. Over my 4 years of college, the costs ranged from $28-32K/year. I just checked out my school's webpage and now it costs $45K/year
I was fortunate to get out of undergrad only owing 1 year worth of expenses, but its all consolidated with grad loans.

Nah, you shouldn't feel old. My history teacher back in highschool used to go to UC Berkeley paying only an odd amount of $75/quarter.
But geez, 45k/year is extremely costly - is this for an undergrad institution? For medical school that sounds cheap but undergrad? Wow.

Im confused.
Monmouth called me yesterday and told me that they want to see my spring grades. However, my grades dont come out till June. The other colleges want their acceptance by may 1st. The advisor told me that my admission wasnt "reversed" but they would like to see my spring grades. What does this mean, im in.. not in??.. As long as i pass my classes,.. she sort of confused me, i dontk now if i should still be excited or not.

Now im super confused.. this sucks. They are my first choice, dont wanna reject the other schools and then in june, monmouth rejects me and i end up with no where to go. Is this standard procedure, my friends have all told me to not worry, im in.. just dont fail.

Just do well this term...you will have nothing to hide, and nothing to worry about. If you have an acceptance...then they need a good reason to go back on it.

isnt that beacuse you're out of state? if you're going out of state, you might as well go to a private school. going out of state to a public school isnt worth it in my opinion because youd be paying the same price for a private school education. |

UCONN! my friend is a swimmer there. i love uconn. the boys there are gorgeous. wow only 3k? thats really cheap. UCLA.. or any of the UCs cost like 8k tuition alone. that's not expensive.. but when you add on everything else liek room and board, it comes out to almost 20k a year. i think thats so expensivee. its likke buying a new car every year. |

yep, when people ask me about my car i just tell them to enjoy their expensive education up north and leave me alone. i'll take my e90 and gorgous florida weather anyday. the school here isn't that bad, and it's not like employers really care where you went as long as it's a 4-yr school and you have decent grades. i'm not trying to get into law school or anything.
