the e92 tails remind me of this

Hmm, I'm looking at the C63, I like the front. It looks mean, like it wants to eat you. The back, could use some tweaks. I like the new facelifted SL too.

That won't get me in a Merc showroom. That thing like most Mercs IMO is hideous.

It almost looks like some people take it personally when anybody talks about anything besides a BMW in this forum.

Additionally, I truly believe that the quality in recent Mercs (after the latest S Class) will be better than what I've experienced with BMW. They can't afford to keep screwing up like they did during the Chrysler years, and prior to that period they've always built great automobiles.

The only thing they are missing is a cool looking coupe which is exaclty what this is. It will probably be more expensive that an average 335 but it won't be too far off.
Thanks for finding words to describe how i feel

What is the deal with the rear windows having the little third window like a 4-door? I thought they were trying to make 4 doors look like coupes - not the other way around...

Almost all 4 doors have it. The rear window can't go down because of the way the doors are cut, so they cut a chunk of the window out, so that it can scroll down. You see what I mean?

I'm sorry. I don't want my 80k+ cars interior looking like a 22k car. You tell me how a 80k+ cars design is better then the e90/e92 when it copy's a 20k cars? . I'm paying 80k+ for a "Premium" segment car. I expect more from a car in that segment. We own a Camry, so I know.

I'm aware of that - but why put that on a 2 DOOR? Unless this is a "hardtop convertible" without a B-pillar, the rear windows will be fixed. And if they aren't, and you have that extra piece of glass back there, what's the point?
