As for what you're talking about? Yeah, it's pretty lame. But I've never been much of a camping person and it's especially a pain in the ass with 3 dogs. I also don't like waking up at 3am and having to walk across a campground to drop a deuce in a filthy toilet either.

I'm more of a "sit on the beach and raise my hand when I need another vodka tonic" type of person.
To be fair, I'd be pretty upset if I had to walk across my bedroom to drop a load at 3am. That's a post-coffee and fully awake process for me

I'll share 2 more before I get myself in trouble-

1) Fat shaming is very appropriate in all situations otherwise you are promoting an unhealthy lifestyle and promoting major health problems.

2) The carefree raising of children has happened with this most recent generations is already having real world consequences and will continue to do so...

What do you mean by carefree? I thought it was the helicopter parents being afraid, who wanted participation trophies and to prevent their kids from being exposed to real life before the age of 23 that was the problem.

I assume carefree meaning not loving your child enough to implement the necessary forms of discipline.

But bulldozer & helicopter parents are no better.

we r in agreement... both apply

My example was complete lack of discipline, do whatever you want and you get kids that kick the back of your airplane seats for the duration of your flight and if u say something, you are considered a terrorist.... all while its entirely the parents fault

Yup... the generation of parents where the answer to everything is "my child is amazing and would NEVER do that".

To be honest, I didn't realize that I'd accidentally clicked over to OT and thought I was in General Discussion.

I think I'll hang out awhile though.

Let me guess, you've never had kids and you're the type that always has an opinion that rocks the boat and likes to verbalize that opinion including shaming certain people.

Am I right?

I think that's a popular opinion. On that note, my unpopular opinion is I like the new M3/M4. A lot of the big-grilled BMWs look horrible but those 2 look great IMO.

Absolutely correct... and proud of it... the truth always hurts many people and often its something no one wants to hear... hopefully when i soon have kids things dont change.

The G80 so far appears to fix all of the F80 shortcomings-

higher quality interior / more luxo
much much better and more stable suspension
far more power
far superior traction even in the RWD models

The f80 was kind of a rickety trampoline when you drove it... The G80 appears to be the opposite. I don't think it looks the best but I think it looks real good in skyscraper gray for example.

Are we defining unpopular opinion as "virtually nobody you've ever talked to shares the same opinion" or as "opinions you have that may start an argument?" A lot of examples given so far fall into the latter category, but I haven't read many that fall into the former. Definitely an entertaining thread either way.

usually an unpopular opinion refers to one most wouldn't agree with or wouldn't accept...

Ok, here's one:

Say, for example, someone has a very bad haircut or similar, I feel more comfortable either saying nothing or just saying it looks "nice", but I think it's crazy some (many?) ppl are outright lying saying that the person looks "AMAZING" and going overboard and saying nothing needs to be changed (esp if that person can reasonably do something about it).
