Tough, tough industry, but you get paid to do what you love, and the thought of one day have 180k+ of trhust at your fingertips should keep you persevering

Exactly, So many and I mean SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO many people in regionals complain. Pisses me off, like stfu. You're getting to fly relatively sophisticated equipment compared to the 172s and warriors that you're going to be "flying" as an instructor. At least when you're an F/O you get to fly every other leg and get experience that you will not get by being an instructor. All I hear is "omg it's been 4 hours, they better send me a free lunch coupon"....bunch of pricks that want to get to the big leagues but don't want to work hard and make sacrifices. You go into regionals knowing you are their bitch...and if you're ok with that, you'll be fine. lol

I have NO problems whatsoever it's what I want to do and I gotta start at the bottom and climb the ladder and not expect to be half way up the ladder without moving my arms and legs.

So few guys out there with your attitude, its the attitude the guys that have been retiring from the majors over the last 10-15 years had. Somewhere along the line many of the young guys began to gain a sense of entitlement. If you are in this industry for the money and spectacular working conditions, you are in the wrong industry in the wrong country....its like anything else, its tough, but its what you make of it.

Cheers,

If BMStyle loves his job in a BE1900 than we should all appreciate our 172s and PA28s more

I heard it on the news a few hours ago and was very thankful that everyone was okay. I heard that one person broke his/her legs but the rest were fine.

No offense but when people use abbreviations and end up explaining what they are, it's kind of pointless. I mean why not just say "I was the pilot flying (PF)"??? That would have been much easier and you don't have to type up a whole other sentence just to explain what it is.

Because him being a fellow pilot, he would understand what I'm saying and not to be rude, I explain what it means. If you are an expert at something you use the proper terminology and since this is a public forum I explain what it means.

Right- since it's the public forum you should have just said it instead of using abbreviations as 99.9% of us aren't pilots. And if you feel the need to use the proper terminology just add it in parentheses.

I know I'm nitpicking here but just my $.02 (not trying to start a fight either).
