The track called "Muir Races to Work" from the Spy Game soundtrack IS the official song of the E90 as far as I'm concerned. Give it a try sometime!

That is all you need Great music for cruising along at night. But it depends on my mood...It's either trance, dance songs or some Heavy Metal (own compilation) or some nice soft rock, ballads (also own compilation). |

buy Geroge Acosta-All Rights Reserved cd, you wont go wrong with disc 1, disc 2 isnt so good. Also go for Geroge Acosta-MIAMI cd, thats just about the sickest trance CD i have ever heard, and Armin Van Burren-A State Of Trance 2006.

I've got a mix of everything on my Ipod from .38 Special, Metallica, Billy Joel, Pink Floyd, Beastie Boys, NIN, NWA, and Slayer just to name a few. I've got about 6,000 songs on there to choose from. Just depends on what mood I'm in.

I'm just curious why this hasn't been moved to Off-Topic. I have nothing against the post, but seems like the Admins are quite inconsistent as to what is on and what is off topic.

Yeah, off topic for this thread but...Emerson, Lake & Palmer's Trilogy Album is among the best of "My Music to Speed by" CD's & mp3's.
Karn Evil 9 - (1st Impression, Part 2) (Sound Sample) Hard to keep it below 80.

Dream Theater - Any album
John Petrucci - Suspended Animation Liquid Tension Experiment Liquid Tension Experiment 2 Basically, if it's got John Petrucci on guitar, I'm listening--either in car or out of car.

Heavy Metal to get you in the mood of racing, Try these bands, if you like guitar oriented music:
- Lamb Of God (songs: hourglass, the faded line, redneck) - In Flames ( songs: Jester race, Dead End) - Dark Tranquillity ( songs: Monochromatic stains, Cathode Ray sunshine, Mind Matters etc) - Children of Bodom ( songs: Needled 24/7, Sixpounder etc) -Arch Enemy(songs: Ravenous, Dead bury their dead) -Strapping Young Lad(songs: AAA, Detox, Aftermath) Trance: - Tiesto - Paul Van Dyk Musical style is to each its own, but I like mostly metal and trance music, that's what I used to listen when driving my Z and always made me drive more aggressively:-) |

Some other good 80's songs for driving: I Ran (So Far Away) - A Flock of Seaglls Atomic - Blondie Hungry Like The Wolf - Duran Duran For something to chill out to while driving: Keep On Loving You - Reo Speedwagon And finally: Crockett's Theme - Jan Hammer (This is a must if you are cruising and the sun is almost setting. Its the whole Miami Vice thing, but with a BMW.)

Don't ask why I'm into soundtracks, I don't know either. Another good driving song from a soundtrack is one of the title (and trailer) songs for Kill Bill Vol. 1, Battle Without Honor or Humanity.

I guess I really just like MOS a lot because it mixes it up with a lot of different sounds, not just the same person.

I think "Walkie Talkie Man" is fun to drive to, lol. Aaand... "All my friends are Dead" by Turbonegro, lol. And "Here it Goes Again" by Ok Go, lol. Those are a few songs I have been listening to lately whilst I drive, lol. The first and Last are upbeat and I really like that. The middle song I usually play when my friends try to race me, lol.
