Haha, I'm from the 816 KCMO, best city in Missouri. And I'm quite alright that nobody cares about us, because when the Mexicans finally invade nobody will notice us. :

Uhh, excuse me? Do you know how many clubs with $30,000 millionaires would be gone. Ever been to Deep Ellum? How could this nation afford to loose Deep Ellum? What about the vital national financial infrastructure that's in downtown Dal... oh wait hmm. Well we would lose an over rated restaurant that spins on top of a hotel. How about all the tourist activities that people flock to Dallas to see?

Shit ya your right, we're not even worth blowing up.

I'm in Cincinnati...love it and hate it at the same time. Very unique city, to say the least, but I don't think we're in any danger of being attacked other than by other Cincinnatians. We have this lovely little place called Over-The-Rhine that has pretty much been in a state of anarchy for the last few decades.

Born and Raised and Still live in Minnesota... Been to both East and West Coasts..

Wouldn't trade MN life for either... I love living in my 4000sq ft home and 30 acres of property that I paid less than $350,000 for..

Word; here in L.A. you gotta be semi-rich or old to own anything decent you'd want to live in. Over in the midwest regular folks own very nice new houses and live much more reasonably; not working all day and nite to survive.

Agree, but I still wouldn't move out. Our weather alone out numbers everything else.

Major financial institutions are moving out of NYC and NY entirely. They are being taxed right out of town. I have talked about it before... The taxes on my building here in Brooklyn are up over 75% in 7 years. They tried to raise taxes again this year we fought it and won. Amazing how this city was in dire straits and business were failing all around. Their solution was to continue raising taxes as if the property value was still rising.
