I'm curious to see if Porsche underrated the output figures on the 991 TTS. I'd imagine that the long wheelbase, improved traction mgmt and extra rubber should give it a bit of a leg up on the already ludicrously fast 997 TT.

Who cares if the GT-R won this race. Do people ONLY buy a car just because it can win a quarter mile? Personally, as long as it does 0-60 in less than 7 seconds, I'm fine with it.

You do realize the GTR also holds one of the best laptimes at the Nürburgring as well right? Its not a 1 trick pony that can only drive straight.

Actually, yes people DO buy high performance cars for high performance. Is that so unbelievable? If what you say is true, then why'd you buy a 135 over a 128? Stop being a hypocrite and give credit where credit is due. I can't take trolls like you seriously.

If you re-read what I wrote, you shall understand that although it's fun to see who has the faster quarter mile, it will matter little to someone who will purchase any of the competing vehicles. For example, I personally like the Porsche 911. Whether it was first or dead last, it would matter little to me. I doubt that someone will pick a GT-R just because it was fastest in this drag race. Oh, and the 135i is my wife's. I would have been OK with the 128i. |

i was making a joke, but that is good info thank you. Throughout all the debates that have been had, Nissan has no doubt caused everyone else to continue to do their best to take performance levels to the next level. I remember a time (5-7) years ago when anything under 4 seconds 0-60 was supercar performance, now a 100k 2+2 sportscar is running under 3 seconds, pretty nuts if you ask me.

Now IMO this is more impressive than some Nissan boxy car. I also like the 386 MPH pass at 3 seconds in the quarter mile. Nissan who? Nissan what? I had too.
Still not a fan of the Nissan.

Not your mate and not upset. You took the time to post several times in my thread. Clearly my OP conjured up some emotions for you. Please troll harder.
