Watching quali last night made me miss the wail of the V8's but I do absolutely love the clean slate and the new challenges the drivers/teams are forced to deal with in the coming years to improve performance and reliability. F1 was starting to get stale in the last year or two...or three.

Fully agree on all points. The cars are meh ( rather ugly and poor sounding ) but the racing is sooooo much more interesting.

Not bad, I enjoyed it but just think if Hamilton and Massa were in it and Bottas didn't need a new gearbox then there would have been some great fights for first. Malaysia should be even better. A pity that Ferrari still seem to be stuck with relative uncompetitive cars.

Excellent race. Incredible to hear the Australian crowd when they saw Vettel exit the race. Off the bat you can tell the Mercedes cars are very strong. Rosberg dominated like a boss!!! Ricciardo did a great job and McLaren ran great. Ferrari on the other hand looked iffy at best. They had a mid-fielders pace.

Lotus.........How's Pastor working out??
