Ahhh...today is what we call 'round the horn'
Started out with Stoli Bloody Mary's...into some nice Templeton Manhattans into some Johnny Black. All this while the Pens kicked the Sens arse. |

The fat one says 70cl, which is 700ml. The taller one is 750ml. Hence the price difference.

Getting ready for the Pens game tonight. See you guys getting this left and right...but the 14 yr bottle is $78 here, so my cheap arse had to go with the $58 12 yr version
Determined that all you guys must have better paying jobs and lower alcohol taxes than myself. |

^^^^Nothing wrong with Aberlour 12. One of my favorites. There are two versions of the 12. I posted a pic a few months ago of them both side by side.

I liked the Aberlour 12 but found I liked the Dalmore 12 (better taste and smoother) and Macallan 12 (better smell) both a little bit better. If I want sherried I guess I want to get hit in the face with it. Or the Aberlour A'bunadh!

A neighbor gave me a bottle of Glenlivit Founder's Reserve as a b-day present and I finally opened it the other day. It is very good. I did not expect a single malt that was not aged longer (they don't even say how long since its a mix of casks from different years) would be so smooth. Surprisingly, very good indeed. If you like single malt Scotch, give it a try.
