1949 Hudson, which appears to have almost limousine-like rear leg room. I suspect it would be a nightmare to drive: a boat!

1947 Chevrolet Fleetmaster Woody with 3 rows of seats.
Check out the D pillar and the rear gate: All wood, I think. B and C pillars may be wood as well.

That would be a nightmare to drive relative to nearly any modern car, true. But in its day it handled well enough to trounce everything else and be a perennial NASCAR champion. Hudson went out of business because they built good cars, but they couldn't charge enough to cover the cost of doing so and still be competitive in the marketplace. Just like so many other car companies.

1982 Porsche 935 L.
This is Bob Akin's famous Le Mans car of 1982. It was one of the wildest Porsche 935s of the post-factory era, and also one of the fastest. |

There were also a few 456s converted (aftermarket) to cabriolets by Straman in California back in the day.

Speaking of Ferraris that have been cut, I always thought that the GTC4Lusso was an interesting but slightly awkward shape, but there were some folks who did CGI renderings of an open version, which I thought were pure sex. To my knowledge, nobody has actually done it though.
